I purchased these when I lost a similar extraction tool with a plastic handle that I'd bought at a popular beauty store and I like these much better! The scored handles prevent the tools from slipping in your hands and make it easier to control the pressure and angle, and the tools are well made and sturdy- they keep their shape perfectly.. This is a really great value- the tools are good quality and I have seen an improvement in my skin. The case is a great addition because it makes it easy to keep the tools clean and to transport them. A pointy tip of the tweezers is tiny and sharp enough to function as a lance; in fact I find the tool better for this purpose than for tweezing regular eyebrow hairs due to the small surface area- have not had any ingrowns on which to test the tool but I think it should work well. Note!!!! This works best if you steam your face or at least apply a hot compress beforehand to open up the pores, making the job easier and reducing the pressure needed as well as minimizing damage. Afterwards, I'd recommend applying toner and rinsing with cold water to close pores back up, followed by moisturizer and any other gentle products you prefer.I'd definitely recommend these to anyone who even occasionally has blackheads or ingrown hairs and I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

The product itself it nice. The metal is strong, seems durable, easy to clean, and I like that it came in a metal case. I had such high hopes for it work great. However, it works poorly on my skin. My face is covered with blackheads and whiteheads which are large and easily noticed so I figured this tool set would be the perfect solution. It does help get a lot more stuff out of my skin the all the other products I've tried out so far but I still have a lot that doesn't want to come out, at least without force. However, using either extractor tool does not get out these issues easily, plus, for me, it was more painful trying to use these tools than using a pore strip or charcoal face mask. The metal seems a bit rough and it also made my face very red. I read all the tips, advice, and watched videos on how to successfully use this product before I tried using it and still didn't get the same great results everyone else seems to be sharing. I still think it is a great product, it just doesn't work as great as I hoped. I don't see myself using this more than once or twice a month.

I was inspired to make this purchase after watching a sponsored video on my FaceBook that intrigued me.This product comes with two tools in a nice little case, I was very pleased with the packaging.They seem like very high quality tools, heavy and professional grade. I doubt I'll have to purchase again for a very long time!First I would like to say that my skin is relatively clear, although I do have an issue with blackheads on my nose and chin. So I thought this might just do the trick to take care of those perpetual pesky blackheads. I used this product right after a hot shower when my pores were more opened and it works beautifully. I have a lot of little whiteheads in the crease of my chin and nothing has ever been able to get rid of them. I've used all kinds of scrubs, strips, and toners, but nothing has worked as well as the little sharp edged tool.Do be careful and don't get carried away, you could potentially damage your skin and make your pore problem worse. This product is ideal for a particular stubborn blackhead, not as an all over facial treatment. The little tweezers are very sharp and if you aren't careful, you can actually harm your skin. But when used properly, it works great.The reason I am giving 4 stars is because it is a little difficult to use in the mirror yourself. You cannot get close enough to see what you're doing without the tool hitting the mirror, which is a little annoying. I think this would work best if you had a friend or someone you trust do it to you.

This is a great set of tools and they work perfectly. If you're like me, you've seen videos of people extracting their pores. It's quite fascinating, I must say. My skin is in really great shape but I'm not satisfied unless I'm doing all I can to ensure it glows – from the inside out and from the outside in. I highly recommend these tools. The price is right, the shipping was fast, the case is nice, and – most importantly – the tools are high-quality. The company, DaBee, also follows up with their customers; refreshing in todays fast-paced and – sometimes – impersonal society.When you receive your tools, use alcohol (or alcohol pads) to sanitize them and make sure your hands are clean (or use BPA-free gloves) when you're doing extractions. Also, take your time and do your research so that you do this properly. The last thing you want is to scar your face up or exacerbate a current condition (if applicable). As others have mentioned, a lighted magnifying mirror is a good thing to have in your arsenal.Happy extracting!

I bought these knowing full-well that they probably would not be what I expected, and I was correct. I'm very into skincare and do not have many blackheads or acne to start with; still, I wanted something for the occasional blackheads around the sides of my nose so that I could extract them myself between facials. I started with a hot shower to open up my pores as well as a hot, wet washcloth and a boiling pot of water for the steam. While I do imagine this product works better after opening up your pores and loosening the blackheads, I would hate to see what happens if you just use this product with no prep at all. It did not remove my blackheads at all, let alone easily---I had to press rather hard and make several attempts to dislodge the blackhead; instead, all it did was leave red marks on my face and zapped the natural oils from my skin, so I ended up with dry skin around my nose that flaked off a few days later. With regular, continual use, I believe you could do permanent damage to your skin. Save your money on this product, and find a good dermatologist or aesthetician to remove your blackheads properly.
