They do the job but chose these because of the pictures, firstly they are not a nice chrome finish just metal and the name is not on them, not that that matters but I thought it looked quite good. The magnet part screw flaps are not quite level so when you screw them tight these flatten and cause the case to move which is annoying, the sticky pads are not clear and stick out past the plate which again is annoying as they are visible and look scruffy against coloured paint, most annoying are the screws they don’t fit flush against the plate as the pictures show which again looks messy and if you don’t line it up straight will interfere with the magnet. Overall there just food magnets do can’t complain about the function.

I bought these magnets to fit/attach panels underneath my kitchen cabinets/cupboards to provide easy access to the underneath for cleaning etc . They have done the job but do not seem to be as heavy duty as advertised. I would approximate the strength/or weight pull to only be about 2-3kgs per magnet rather than the advertised 15kg. This is a bit disappointing as it means the panels are too easy to remove by accident. I think therefore I would have been better going for other brands where the magnets are smaller and cheaper and so I could fit twice as many instead to get the required force/attraction. They were however straightforward and easy to fit, although the screws proved a little tricky to screw in as the head was too easy to burr. I haven't tested the 3M sticky tape as I only used screws to complete the fitting. At £7.99 for a pack of four I feel they are probably overpriced by about £2 based on the pierce of comparable brass ones in my local independent hardware store which were £2 each but slightly smaller in size.

I needed to do a job for my mother to fit a small panel to cover the top of the boiler and match the units I had looked at screw brackets and other options but because I didn't want to have screws showing I decided to use these The magnets were screwed to a frame behind the panel and I glued (instant high impact type) the flat plate to the back of the panel itself Worked perfectly - the magnets were more than strong enough to hold the panel fixed in place yet allowed the panel to come off when needed

Good, strong magnet. Only needed one magnet to keep a heavy, home-made household file drawer closed. The double sided adhesive tape made positioning the drawer plate easy.

I ended up gluing these into place as they were quite large. Magnet is nice and strong.
