They worked great, and they were the same name brand
Bought these for my wife's grandmother. They were cheaper (cost wise) than purchasing through the supplier that the hospital gave her. They worked great, and they were the same name brand! Worked well with the "Image FormaFlex Shape-T-Fit Skin Barrier.

Easy to clean and secures without clips
I've been living with an ostomy for about 6 months. It's an education, and no matter how many videos you watch or health pros you consult with, there's always something new to learn. I had been using Convatec Sure Fit bags and skin barriers, and having a lot of trouble keeping them secure to the skin. Sometimes I'd go through 4 of those skin barriers in less than 24 hours. That's scary and expensive. You never know if you're secure and too often don't know if you're leaking until you smell something. Not a fun way to get through your day.It turns out my first ostomy (an easy to fit 1.25" circular stoma about , very little shaping and cutting needed) was flawed. It prolapsed a lot, especially when allergy season brought with it heavy coughing and sneezing. Within 5 months and 3 weeks of the the first operation I needed an emergency repair--another operation, sectioning out the problem tissue and relooping the stoma, a rather larger (1.75", more or less) one this time, shaped like a chubby peanut. And though I don't do well at cut and paste, I'm going to have to learn. This time, using a wax (ekan seal) moldable ring and some stoma paste, I cut and build where needed to produce a more level skin surface. The results seem to be more stable. Fewer leaks, and much longer wear of the skin barrier. Why is this a big deal? Look at the costs here. These skin barriers run about $7-$8 each. Bags are reusable, and so can last through at least 2 skin barriers. Insurance allows only 10 of these skin barriers per month. They have to last! These bags come with self locking drainage pouch. I don't really mind the plastic clip, but I've had one fail on me. Not great to look down and see the clip on the floor, then look at your clothes and see it's time for a quick change, and a bath. I also appreciate the disposal bags. These are odor blocking (not deodorant). There's little to no smell. Trust me, your house mates/guests will thank you and Hollister for this extra, and you'll have a discreet way to dispose of the used product in a public restroom, if need be.Lastly, I really appreciate the flange grip. A separate ring on the skin barrier has a little rubber ledge around the back opening at the top. With this you can press the bag onto the skin barrier without also pressing on your abdomen. I didn't realize what a nice feature this is until I had the second surgery and experienced again how tender the abdomen can be after surgery. It's important to hear that 'tupperware snap' of the bag ring onto the ring of the skin barrier. If it's not tight, the whole bag can pop off when you really wish it wouldn't (try walking into church of a Sunday, praying you can make it to the restroom to do a repair/replacement before anyone notices the problem)! Why don't I give this a 5? Well, let's see. I'm not excited about the product. It could use less confusing instructions about ways to consistently shape the stoma opening in the skin barrier. It could use some kind of filter to diffuse or soak up the gases that bloat these bags (and I'm told there are bags with some kind of charcoal filter incorporated in the design). I do appreciate the soft sheet overlay on the side of the bag next to the belly. It's not so cold as the clear plastic of the rest of the bag. I wish the stoma paste didn't melt in the presence of body heat and drip down in the bag and stick it shut. Now if I could just make the Convatec ostomy belts I have work with the Hollister bags.....
