No, this is not crimped! If you want a Pana Brand in Crimped, you need to get the Teal Color Wood Handle for the Pana Brand, those are Teal Color.

I need to buy a size 8 oval brush, but from some of the comments, this one is not really oval. Any suggestion as to which is best to get?

can it be used in acetone?

I had some acrylic stuck on my brush and soaked it for a few minutes in pure acetone then scraped it with an orange wood stick. My brush still looks and works the same. I was very hesitate to leave it soaking to long as I hear it can damage your brush.
