Small and overpriced but if your kid wants a Vilociraptor so bad, you buy it anyways 🤪
My son desperately wanted a velociraptor for his bday. I didn't open up the package until I came to wrapping it up the night before. It was tiny. And the gift he had wanted the most but too late to return and get him something better! Its my fault I didn't read the measurements- i had got him a t-rex a different time and that was huge. Of course, its all to scale *fail*Still. He loves it. Detailed. Open ended play. Can scan into the app- he loves to look up the facts etc.I just think it was way over priced for what it is.

Great raptor with a ho-hum action feature
This is a great looking raptor and has a lot of mileage for the price point (under $10). The paint job is reminiscent of the raptors from The Lost World movie which is rad. The legs can also move out from the hips a bit to help with stability. The only major draw back is the action feature. The arms swing up in down like they are clawing somebody. Unfortunately the button on the back loves to stick and it really gums up the works. I'm sure kids will love it regardless.Pros-Fantastic paint applicationGreat sculpt with a ton of detail for the size and price pointCons-Action feature can be meh

It's just another Velociraptor.
The media could not be loaded. One of the most plentifully made Jurassic World dinosaurs - this is another model of the Velociraptor. Unfortunately, it's merely reskinned, so there isn't anything new or exciting about this one. This is the smallest size of Jurassic World dinosaur, which puts it in the $8 price range. I've actually passed on this one multiple times because our 7 year old already has 7 OTHER velociraptors, but the price dropped to $6, so I did it anyway. These dinosaurs make good "Rainy day 'oh, here's a dinosaur'" treats, so I don't mind picking them up and throwing them in our extra dinosaur bin in the basement. This type of raptor does have a button to push on its back, and when you do it makes the arms wiggle back and forth. Not really exciting, and they sometimes get stuck in weird positions - but for $6 and the fact that it kind of DOES something? I got it.The coloring is pretty basic - standard light brown with dark brown accents, but they are painted well.It also features a scanner on its foot, which means it is compatible with the Jurassic World Scanner App for sounds and some dino fact fun.Overall, it's not a thrilling dinosaur, just more fodder for the scanner app machine, and a good toss it to your kid when they're itching for something new dinosaur.I wouldn't touch this I'd the price went to $9 or above though.
