Flandre Patio Door Awning Canopy, Polycarbonate, White, 40" x 32"

Frame is in good shape after couple of years. The plastic part you slide in does show signs of yellow after two years. Just remember to measure your stud to frame so as not to come off wall. Also make sure you have enough clearance when swinging the door open.! I mounted one side of frame first. Insert plastic inside the frame. Then insert other frame side to the plastic (not fhe wall, yet!) before mounting it to wall. Frame is still white. We have one 'V' crack (size of quarter) from storm. Not bad from all the storms we've been getting past two years.

Doesn't Keep door dry

My application was a challenge, used to stop dripping over entry door. Metal roof was just installed, had to keep unit high enough for door clearance, but still low enough to be under roof line, prediction of gale force winds tonight, hopefully it will be there in morning.

I have a side-door that has zero protection from the weather, with a constant battle with soggy door mat. This 32" canopy is light weight and flimsy appearing but works to help keep the rain off the entry. The fastening hardware that was included is a mystery, so I instead used my own quarter-inch x 3.5" lag bolts while also using a matching 1" wooden extension biscuit cut to size for added reach (see pic). I'm a happy consumer considering the cost, effectiveness and ease of installation. Happy shopping.

Product is flimsy. Would not withstand a heavy snowstorm. Not positive if it would even withstand a heavy rain/wind storm. BE AWARE SELLER MAKES RECEIVING A REFUND VERY DIFFICULT. USED THE RETURN LABEL THEY PROVIDED, PAID FOR RETURN SHIPPING, AND SELLER IS SAYING I SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN A TRACKING NUMBER (I thought the label they provided would be sufficient). NO REFUND TO DATE.

This awning didn't look like it was going to be sturdy when we took it out of the box. We installed it over our A.C. unit. It has done a fantastic job sheltering and keeping our unit clean. It has held up wonderfully so far with bad storms and winds. Good choice for the price.

Awning roof is opaque. Appears flimsy but when put together it is very sturdy. I used this for window privacy into a bathroom. I installed and mounted by myself. Happy.

Wouldn’t fit our doors. Measured 36” but wasn’t wide enough to clear the door trim. Also be aware that if you return it you will be paying the shipping fee, I returned both of these and it cost me $60!! Plus you will pay for shipping when you order which was $20 for two. Bad mistake on my part I’ll never order from this company again.
