Pet Proofing
Bought this to cover the garage door opener in the garage because my dogs figured out how to hit the button and open the door! This covered it perfectly, they cant get to it. Easy to install.

Solid build
It’s a really solid build and looks super sturdy. Feels like they used high quality materials and the back has a silicon lining that helps seal it.

Our home has an elevator. The first landing is to our driveway. The entrance is exposed to rain.The call button on our elevator has failed twice since its installation three years ago. Rain water seeps into the electronics, which is installed in stucco.Failure of this electronic switch results in a replacement cost of $250.I found this cover on Amazon and decided to give it a try. It's been installed for a week. Here's my take:1. Installs easily using four, included, screws and anchors. The only required tools are a 1/4" carbide drill bit and phillips screwdriver.2. The unit includes a "self-seal" beading that prevents moisture penetration.3. However, in our Florida climate, moisture builds up within the enclosure, which is the reason for my four, as opposed to five-star review.In our application, this product could be improved by having air holes in the base of the unit.For interior applications, I would rate this a five star.(I selected this after reading reviews that suggested the price is too high for what is basically a piece of plastic. True, but this "piece of plastic" provided an alternative to my spending a few hours to fabricate my own solution. The price is a non-issue.)

Works for my application
Wow. $55 because I have a smart dog. While doing renovation at home the dog was put in the Garage . He managed to jump up and hit the garage door opener 5 times . Why 5 times I ordered the cover and he managed to hit it 4 more times. Smart dog.

No Hinge Pin?
Very high quality, well made. However, there was no hinge pin included. If you lift the cover, the whole top just falls off. Not sure if this is a packaging error or how it is designed. I plan to try to contact the company directly for more information.
