These are truly amazing little berries. We were shocked at how much they changed the taste of lemons. We discussed all sorts of applications for using them, from taking bad tasting medicine to being able to enjoy foods that are good for us which we really don't like the taste of. The berry half is very small and has a nice freeze dried crunch.The only minor drawback was what seemed like a tiny crunchy seed hull, which was not in every piece. It was easily chewed and swallowed. You really need to keep this berry in your mouth and move it around a lot for at least 30 seconds for it to effectively change your taste buds.This is a great science experiment or object lesson. Fun to try!

These are fabulous. I tried the tablet type of another brand a few years ago but they didn’t work that well for me. These work great though. My husband and I are on a low sugar way of eating so we use these to have a sweet treat without the sugar or sweetener. We make “limeade”, to make it: first chew up 2 miracle berry halves, then squeeze the juice of one lime into a glass of ice water and use a straw to drink it up! (Better for your teeth) It’s so sweet and delicious!I also made a cheesecake without sweetener and it was so delicious after the miracle berry. Simply eating lemon slices or grapefruit pieces is delicious (and I hate grapefruit). I also use this when drinking apple cider vinegar in water.It’s also fun to try jalapeños!

The pamphlet that comes with the berries says that one half berry will last for 15-20 minutes of flavor change, but the duration I experienced was much shorter, about a minute or two.I followed the directions, cleaned my tongue, chewed the berry, let it sit on my tongue.I was able to eat two lime wedges that tasted like the best limeade in the world, but the effect was gone by the third wedge. Another one lasted long enough to eat a handful of tart strawberries.It's a lot of fun. Lemons and limes will be an experience for most people. You can get more life out of fruit that hasn't ripened long enough. Tomato sauces taste wonderful.I don't see myself buying these regularly at the price. It doesn't seem like an economical way to replace sugar in a diet, but it's a cool party trick.

Like Charlie Brown trying to kick the football from Lucy, I once again feel for the hype. This is a useless product. I have been having some taste bud issues due to chemotherapy, and I was hoping these would help with that. But all they do it turn something sour into a funky, artificially sweet flavor for 15 minutes. What is the point of that? Hardly worth the ridiculous price.

Bought this product since I was curious. The package came and freeze dried berries were inside as advertised, so I was excited to try (especially with lemon juice). Followed the instructions exactly with half a berry, nothing (as in, lemons/lemon juice tasted the same). Tried again another day with a whole berry, nothing. I then crushed an entire berry with a mortar and pestle, let the resulting berry dust sit on my tongue for 30 seconds, swished it around in my mouth and, again, no change in taste. Sour lemons tasted like they always do. So just be warned if you buy it may not work for you at all.

Unbelievable how these work makes anything bitter or sour sweet. Didn't believe it till I tried it. It works

These are crazy! They really do make sour things taste sweet. Just don’t get carried away or it will upset your stomach!
