This package of pool drains was perfect for my pool setup. The quality of material is very heavy duty and comes with all the pieces you need for a full insulation.

I am glad i bought this, i only placed 1 because i wanted something dead center to pull the debris from the bottom. We would just hop in and do a quick whirl pool and move any debris to the center. Pool went green thanks to a week of rain, did a liquid chlorine shock and clarifier and the pool was crystal within 5 days, no vacuuming. This the cleanest my pool has ever stayed in the last 7 years of working with the Intex steel frame pools. Current pool is an Intex Ultra Frame 18ft, running an intex Sand filter. I put this in back in June and now that i think about it some of the holes for the cover didn't line up the way you would assume but it worked just fine in the end.

Please make sure you have the correct pipe size inlet. Other than that, all ok.

Thick plastic, 2 inch threaded side inlets. 1 1/2 inch threaded pressure equalizer holes on the bottom. Comes with 2 1 1/2 inch plugs for bottom ports, 4 gaskets, 2 anti entrapment covers, 2 flanges and screws. These drains are cast very well and the the plastic is very smooth.

No more vacuuming the pool. We turn on the bottom drain and make a whirl pool. Most debris is sucked down. I just manually cleaned the pool for the first time this season and it was only because I wanted to get most of the fine particles out before putting the cover on for the winter. I plumbed in with valves so I can split between the bottom and side skimmer.

Great product, I installed these on my above ground pool. Well worth the extra effort of digging and running the piping. I tied this into my return line with separate shutoffs to control flow between the 2 drains and the skimmer. The pool has been spotless for weeks because of the excellent water circulation from the top of the pool (skimmer) and the two bottom drains.

works good, I just wish it would have had a more flat screen on top, this is domed. I installed this in an above ground pool, wow what a difference with keeping the bottom clean!!!
