It’s a gauge. Threads are accurate, built sturdy, doesn’t leak, and reads accurately. What else can you say? Installed in about 20 seconds. Maybe a minute if you count the time I used to apply Teflon tape. Easy!

Perfect replacement for my prior gauge, which stopped working over the winter. Great value.

I needed a replacement for an old Hayward sand filter. This fit perfectly. I used some Teflon tape and there has been no leaking. When I first installed it there was a little water in the dial. I took some of the Teflon tape and put it around the gauge where the face of the gauge connects to the body and had no additional problems despite some severe torrential rains.

It works like it was made for and we are very pleased with it.

I have a saved a lot of water from not backwashing my pool thanks to my new gauge! That saves me money!!

does the job

This guage works well. The only issue is it doesn't last. Bought it three years ago and the neddle gets stuck with the numbered backing plate that has wrapped. The glycerin filled guage I bought at the same time still work flawlessly. I would opt for the Measureman blue and red colored that is filled with glycerin instead of this unit.

When I attached this to my pool filter the pressure guage faced downwards. There was no way i could vary this whist maintaining a good seal.
