If this said Dianese or Alpinestars, it would be 500+ dollars. This jacket is awesome, great fit, excellent armor, leather is thick, it honestly feels more stout than comparable priced leathers. SHIMA sells heated vests, cooling vests and insulated vests made to attach seamlessly with this jacket. I would like a soft fabric sewn to inside of collar, especially if it was removable for easy cleaning. The central vent front zipper idea is genius. Haven't wrecked in it, but I'm sure it would be extremely protective. All the vents help keep you cool on hot days. Love the Hi-Viz fluo yellow, so driver's notice me. I feel safe wearing this and I think the look/ fit is perfect.I am 6'2, 215 and a fairly athletic build. I wear XL or XL tall for shirts/ hoodies. I bought a 52 and could barely get my arms in it, I could not zip it up. Returned it, bought a 56 and it's perfect. The fit is quite race jacket style, but with a bit more room in the mid section for great comfort.

I wanted to like this product, I have many other Shima products and the quality is always amazing. This product is no different. The quality is amazing, not just for the price but in general it is very high quality. The problem here is the sizing. Going by the chart I should be a size 46, so I first bought a 46. I understand this is a sport fit so the sleeve and torso should be a bit short but this was horribly short. Again, going by the chart each size shows a sleeve length of 2cm larger than the last, so I then ordered a size 50 which should have added 4cm to the sleeve length but looks like it made no difference to the sleeve length (it looks like it might actually be shorter) and now it is a very baggy fit and for some reason the elbow pads are further up my arm than they were in the size 46 so now they are too high and only the bottom edge of the pads reach my elbow. Even with my gauntlets that extend 3-4 inches past my wrists as soon as I reach for the handle bars the sleeves pull out past the gauntlets. If you can find one of these sizes that fits I would definitely recommend it, this has similar quality to 6 or $800 jacket from one of the big brands, but good luck finding a good fit. I'm not freakishly tall or super skinny, I have a very average build and I have never had a problem like this with other jackets. Hopefully Shima will have more size options in future products and true slim fits. This pictures for this listing says slim fit, it is definitely not a slim fit.

Absolutely amazing high quality jacket for the price or any price for that matter. I can’t state this well enough, but you will understand when it arrives. Jacket has fantastic protection and features. Runs small, I ordered the 48 and need to return it for a larger one and am contemplating 1 or 2 sizes bigger.
