All of my kids love using this to practice or master penmanship. I do wish the tray were a little bigger for when they want to write words with more than 3 letters.

I want to love it
Here’s the thing, I want to love this and I do, but the sand can leak out if you don’t carry it just right! I can’t hAve it sitting out so I have to put it away daily! I am going to think of a new way to store it and then I’ll circle back!Overall it’s beautiful! I love it!

Great resource
This is a great resource for my one-on-one sessions with my kindergarten student. It really helps her in writing her letters nicely. Would have loved colored sand - but I love that it's a magnetic top.

Perfect for tiny learners
The media could not be loaded. My son is 1.5 years and loves to sit with us while homeschooling. I purchased this for him to be able to manipulate different things while we study.I replaced the sand with baby rice cereal and he absolutely loved it.My 7yo borrowed it and had fun as well.

Got this for my Autistic grand son to assist him with forming letters, great value for money, the build quality is good and he is doing well with it as it helps develp his finger muscles.

Beautiful and good quality
Absolutely beautiful. Great quality and the kids loved it. I wish it came with a scraper thing to smooth out the sand but not a deal breaker. Love the magnetic lid and the cards!

Almost perfect except….
Almost perfect if it closed completely.. there are gaps. Will update with photos. Its something i needed for my homeschool and we have used it every day since we received.Pros:Material is esthetically pleasing. Smooth and very beautiful .It bothers me that it doesn’t seal closed as advertised. I dont want to send it back because of that. If it closed properly it would have been a five star. My child is 3.5 almost and the sand tray makes writing so much fun and engaging for her. i could have continued using the wooden tray i had before... But i needed the sand tray closed when not in used. The tray not closing or sealing is a huge disappointment
