This bag has everything I need to grab n go in an emergency. There is so much room left in this bag even with all the contents. I can easily add items for the pets, extra clothes/shoes. A fantastic starter bag compiled by someone who knew exactly what they were doing. I hope I never need it obviously, but what a peace of mind having it. Every house needs this emergency backpack along with anything else you have ready.

The backpack is as good or better than you would find at Walmart or elsewhere.You know the food and water are good and will do what is required.The ancillary items while of a seemingly inexpensive nature will work just fine as intended.The important part of this experience is thisI had a small problem with the orderNothing major. Pretty good selection gear for the price. The problem I have is with the pack. I got it for my son to use in Boy Scouts and it lasted just over 2 yrs and the strap tore out. I guess it would be better suited to lighter duty than what my 10 yr old put it through.

This is just as advertized. We have been using ReadyWise survival foods for years. I bought my first pack about 10 years ago. We have the emergency pack just in case of a tornado or hurricane. We live in the south so we get those from time to time. We also use the food for backpacking or short hiking trips when we need to pack light. We have also used them on Kayaking trips. Super easy to fix and quick. The food is pretty tasty. We prefer ReadyWise over other brands. But to be honest we have not used to many other brands. May branch out and try more. But you can't go wrong with this brand.

This was a Cmas gift for someone in a disaster prone area. It holds enough for 3 days and could easily hold more, possibly up to 7 days. The kit contains food and is a pretty good deal for the money.
