As good as
Love this little thing. Picture is as good as you could expect for a 7" screen. It's lightweight, thin, and easy to use. I ended up using Command strips to mount it in place. Works like a charm.

Worked great then failed
I bought this just as a monitor for my DSLR camera to shoot video. I just needed to see the framing in real time on a bigger screen then the DSLR screen. It worked great for a while and for months now it turns the video off and on at 5- 10 second intervals. Very distracting. It's almost useless now due the distraction of it doing that.I'll need to get another one now but it WON'T be thisI recommend stay away from this monitor.

CAIRUTE® 7 Inch Ultra Thin 16:9 Super HD 1024*600 TFT LCD Color...
Overall, its an ok little display. Versatile inputs, and a clear image, although, there isnt much in the way of adjustment or color correction as far as white balance of the display goes, it runs a tad bluish to my tastes (cold white) . There are lots of uses for this little screen, but "rugged service monitor" is NOT one of them. I found it handy for focusing security cameras, computing, general display test screen. The screen is fragile, and mine broke from a fall, while in an unprotected bag with other gear, totally my fault. I did however , like it enough to buy another one very soon!

the color is just wrong
Do you notice that their are very few 2 star reviews? Anyway, this should probably be a 2 star but not one. shrug. Ok so when i was doing my homework i didn't notice how many people commented on the color shift . . . blue white? something like that. the only thing this monitor is good for (at least for video production) is making sure you can see yourself in the shot. You couldn't hope to get a sense of the lighting . . . that is a total lost cause. My other fuss is the remote. It is useless. It works so inconsistently that it would be a better product if there were no remote. and the menu interface on the unit is cludgy . . . ((I think that is how you spell that) I mean it is awkward and frustrating to use AND the features and functions inside the menu have almost no impact on the image seen.So just to reiterate . . . the color on this unit is shifted toward blue/white. You will look almost grey in the picture. If you don't mind that . . . knock yourself out.

The David of field monitors
I bought this screen to use as a field monitor for my Nikon camera (which has a fixed screen), and I must say I'm pretty impressed to far. The image and colors are surprisingly good; I was expecting blueish tints, but it looks just fine to me.It still has to stand the test of time, but I would certainly recommend it for others looking for a screen on a budget.

Sent me new one with SCRATCHES!
Product looked great, small, light and easy to use, but the quality of the product that was sent to me was outrageous! I bought a brand new one and it came to me with huge scratches on the screen. Very displeased with Amazon

Small. Light. Works great!
I lead worship at nursing homes now and then and do some things at the church where I need to do projection. I bought this to be a monitor so my projection controls are shown on my laptop and this shows what's being projected on the screen which is frequently beside me or even behind my. I want to see what's on the screen without having to turn around and this has allowed me to do that. I was using a larger TV/Monitor that was a pain to carry. This goes right in the pocket a my gig bag for my audio mixer. It's small and light and has met my expectations perfectly.

Expelled the magic smoke on first plug-in
Expelled the magic smoke on first plug-in using the included power supply. Not even worth returning it after reading other reviews. I did not want to try again and anticipating a round of "It's your fault, not ours". It's sitting in my trash can where it belongs.
