its good the quality, finish, the pins .. i am giving 4 stars because I dont use it as often as I use detangling brush, so I can't vouch for longevity, I have thin hair, it gives a good massaging feeling, do your self a favour buy yourself detangling brush ( Janeke ) if you are loosing hair or have thin hair.. helps with stopping breakage to some extent.

I love this brush. I have already purchased 5 over the years. It is great on my relatively thick straight hair but the bristles break. Not pulling out of the base, they just break..in half. This makes them jagged and then they tear my hair. I use pliers and pull out the broken ones but I think this is the last straw and I am packing it in and buying something else. Fool me once shame on you, fool me 5 times :) shame on me. Just a warning.

I really like this brush. I bought it because I am on a journey toward plastic free living and the nylon tips of my current brush were falling off so I needed a new one. I wanted a cruelty free plant based brush made without plastic. This brush has a bed for the bristles that looks like nylon. It’s really hard to tell because I can’t get my finger tips all the way in to feel it. The bristles are made of bamboo and are very flexible. None of the bristles were broken. I’ve been using the brush for a couple of weeks now. I love that the bristles are not sharp. They are soothing to my scalp. At first the brush did create static in my hair but after a few uses that stopped. I use a bit of almond oil in my hair to add control and shine and I think that helped season the brush.

Ordered as a replacement for daughter's brush with multiple broken "bristles". Arrived in a plain bubble mailer, so one of the "bristles" was already broken. So much for trying to save the world... The replacement order was super simple, as was the return - though it would have been better if neither would have been necessary (IE: better shipping packaging). She was happy at the thought. Now she has two - one broken for her car and another (hopefully arrives intact) for her bathroom! <fingers crossed>

I was looking for a wooden bristle brush because I've heard of all the benefits: scalp stimulation, doesn't tug at hair, helps distribute natural oils, etc. This is the perfect size if you have short-medium length hair that is not super thick. The bristles are stiff and feel incredible when brushing your hair, I also believe I have noticed positive benefits of my hair not breaking as easily and also not getting as oily so quickly. I think this brush is easily as gentle as those wet brushes that have super flexible bristles. I would highly recommend this brush if you're looking for a wooden bristle brush, plus you can't beat the price for the quality.
