These sunglasses are extremely light weight, made with very high quality products and the lenses are very high quality too. As shown in the example the manufacturer puts in their advertisement, these lenses do in fact make everything look brighter. Sort of like the HD in your TV compared to regular. With these lenses on, although everything looks brighter, crisper and clearer, they definitely block out any glare. If you're used to sunglass lenses showing to you darker than normal, these lenses will take a little bit to get used to but will do you a fine job once you adjust to their brightness most sunglasses don't give you.
