Great for crafting
Good heavy jute rope. Used to make beehives for baby shower decorations. Makes them sturdy. Worked great! Smells a little bit but the smell goes away after a few days.

Good rope, Horrible smell
I haven't actually used the rope yet, but it seems to be relatively strong and well made. It's going to be a few days before I CAN use it because I could smell the strong petroleum odor before I even opened the bag. It was so overwhelming I had to just hang the pile of rope over my fence to hopefully air out for a few days.

Perfect for chicken roost
We were guessing on the correct size for our chicken roost bar. This worked perfect!

Great Hemp Rope
Great hemp/jute rope, no odor like some of the rope you find on Amazon, great for crafts if you make macrame or like I did repaired and made new cat scratch toys.

Would I buy it again? Resignedly, yes.
So, I would buy it again. Why? The price per foot is much better (.05/ft vs next closest at a hair over .07/ft = it adds up on large projects). Why am I not Thrilled?! #1 the smell - unpack it and leave it out somewhere to dissipate the worst of it, but it will continue to smell. #2 the quality. Not terrible, the cord is mostly even with only the rare irregularity. However, I've done macrame for 40+ years and I've never worked with cord that unraveled so much. If you're going to unravel at the end of your project you 'should' be ok, if not Cut several Extra Inches.

Nice rope, sadly, a chemical smell...
The rope is nice, however, be warned that it may come in pieces, not a full length. One of my rolls had a section that was maybe 50'. After treating it, I also noticed it had a rather strong kerosene smell., Which is obviously not good. Had to bake the rope at 250 for six hours to get rid of the smell, and then re-treat it. Smells good now, and has a beautiful dark look (if treating with oils and beeswax).
