I will admit I was really skeptical of this brush, I've tried MANY different styling products and tools over the years. I had this in my shopping cart for several weeks before I took the plunge. I normally get a Brazilian Blowout every three or so months just to make my hair manageable enough to feel soft and dry naturally without frizz. It usually takes me 45 minutes to blow dry my hair straight when it's wet, and then I'd flat iron it right after... and first thing in the morning. Lately I've been getting weekly blow outs just because I was so tired of all the fuss. When the FemJolie brush arrived, it stayed in its box for a week. I didn't open it until about a week ago when I felt too sick to go to my weekly appointment and was just going to let my hair air dry. Well one look in the mirror after it dried and I knew something had to be done, cuz I was not leaving the house looking like that! And I'm sorry to say I thought to myself, well I have nothing to lose its going to be a ponytail one way or another. So I plugged in the brush and read the instructions. I'm not the most savvy of hair stylists, or someone that's particularly competent with any hair appliance. So I was shocked to see this brush taming my curls. I worked through my hair section by section and my results were as good, if not better than if I had blow dried my hair straight. I couldn't believe it. Moreover, when I flat ironed my hair it was STRAIGHT. I honestly thought it was a fluke, beginner's luck, I hadn't even intended to go for my favorite pin straight look, I was just hoping it would look like tamed hair! I've tried the same approach three times now, and have gotten the same results. No having to spend 45 minutes under a hot blow dryer. This morning, I went from air dried crazy curly to pin straight in 30 minutes, a world record for me. I'm sure there are stylists and skilled customers out there who can do much more amazing things in even quicker time, but for me - after ten years of relying on a blow drier - I'm already amazed. I've been telling all my friends and stylists about this brush. If it works this well on my hair (when I'm doing it), it will work miracles for so many others! (I paid for this with my own money and am getting nothing in return for this review. I'm sharing my honest experience because the curly hair struggle is real!)

I was very surprised as to how much I liked this product! I bought this because I saw a similar product, but was way more expensive. I looked to amazon to see if I could find a product that was a bit cheaper, and I stumbled across this. I think that this product is very reasonably price, and works very well. I was nervous to try it out because I have hair that is very curly and thick. I just did not know how it was going to work on my hair, but after using the product I was very excited. Not only did it straighten my hair to my expectations, but it also made my hair feel silky smooth, and I did not notice as much damage as I usually do with my usual straightener. My hair will usually take a good 30 minutes to straighten, but with this product it took me just a little bit over 10 minutes. Overall, I would recommend this product to anyone looking for something to help with difficult hair, and looking for something that takes a little bit less time.

Was only able to use it like 4 or 5 times. It would keep shutting off and I thought it was the placement of my hand, but after much trial and error, I discovered it was shutting off on its own. When I went to use it this morning, it shut off on its own and when I turned it back on, it began to smoke. I should say that when it was working, it worked great. UPDATE: Tonya from the company called me with no hours of me posting thus review. She was very concerned and apologetic. They are express shipping me a new one, and I will update after I receive it.

LOVE it! I have very thick hair so had to section, but it was sooooo easy to use and my hair looked fabulous! Very straight, no fuzz and I could curl the ends if I liked. So happy I bought this! I received the brush in a very timely manner! I used it that night before I went to bed because I just had to see how it worked. I was very happy with it. I am blessed with very thick hair that has a slight curl that can turn to frizz very easily and I live in the high humidity of Hawaii. So I am always looking for an easy way to make my hair look at least presentable so I don't always have to wear a ponytail. This brush made my hair very smooth and pretty in no time! I believe it was faster than my Instyler. (I told you I'm always looking for that tool that will make my hair look nice quickly and EASILY) I have only used it that one time because I just got highlights and wanted to give my hair a break before I put heat on it. I was definitely impressed with the ease and quickness and will be, and have been sharing my experience with the brush to all I know! Thank you for the great product!

I purchased this hair straightener 6 months ago. I have somewhat straight hair but sometimes I just like a little more smoothness. This brush worked alright for that. I liked how easy it was to use, and the results while weren't great were good enough that I was satisfied. Unfortunately about 6x into using this product, it just stopped working. The company contacted me for feedback. I told them about the problem asked them to send me a prepaid label. To their credit they offered to try to fix the problem if I spent the money and time to send them back the product for testing. I declined.

The jury is still out one this one - I only used three times before one of the heads to a bristle has fallen off. Thankfully this product comes with a warranty so I will to be sure to thoroughly brush my hair before using this heated brush in case it was my error by not thoroughly detangling my hair before using. Though the instructions say that you can use this on damp or dry hair, if you have curly hair I would suggest drying and brushing your hair completely before using it just to be on the safe side. I have not tried a heated brush before so I continue to have great hopes for this product. I have received many compliments when I have straightened my hair using this so it could certainly be my own issue. Also, The brush does come with an additional product insert that provide a phone number in which you can call to be put on a VIP list so that if you encounter problems you can call the number and be on their VIP list. While I have not yet called that phone number I am not sure of what the benefit of being on their VIP list might be. I do plan to call just to mention the lost bristle to see what their suggestions might be. On a positive note, the brush does come with a wide range of temperature options so that each user can tailor the temperature to their exact wants or needs. Another nice benefit is that it comes with a cotton glove for your other hand to protect it from any overly hot temperature! This brush comes well recommended by reviews and hopefully it will do a great job! My lack of stars is only due to the fact that there was a bristle lost so quickly.

I will admit to having only had this product for a few days, but so far, so good. I received the straightener much sooner than I thought I would've. It did take a minute to figure out a few things, such as: to turn the straightener on, you have to hold the power button down for three seconds, not just lightly press it; the LED display initially reads in Celsius but you can change it to Fahrenheit by holding down two buttons (the + and -) at the same time. So as soon as I became familiar with the product, I began using it and love it. I have thick, wavy hair that, when first blow-dryed, is a mile wide! I am definitely someone who has to clip part of my hair up and straighten in layers, and layers, and layers. But this brush makes all of that a cinch. I still do the layers but they are an absolute breeze. The brush glides SO easily through my hair that I'm onto the next layer in seconds, not minutes. I especially love this brush for the back of my hair which, obviously, I can't see, so it was always difficult to know how straight I was really getting it. The brush solves that problem because you just comb over the entire section like you are brushing it and boom, it's straightened. So far I've received nothing but excellent customer service as well, with an email thanking me for my purchase, but most importantly, an email once I received the product explaining how to best use it, asking me if it was going well, saying they will keep in touch, etc. This isn't some scam company selling crappy products, there is a real person on the other end of this transaction who takes clear pride in making sure everyone is pleased. The product also leaves my hair soft and more like it's naturally straight, because you're not scorching your strands between two hot plates, so it makes for a better, more natural hair feel than a traditional straightener I think. It's not that "completely stick straight because I just slaved over it with a 500 degree hot plate" look. It looks like your hair just IS straight without having done the work to it. I would definitely give this product a try. It's hard to trust reviews but what really made me take the plunge was knowing there was a 60-day money back return. I don't need it and don't plan on using it, but it was nice knowing that if this really had turned out to be a mistake I could always un-do it. Thank you!!

I love this hair straightener brush not because it straightens my hair but because it does not give the hair the smell of having used some straighter. By that I mean, When I used other hair straighteners, they would straightener my hair, especially there is one straightener I loved, in 30 minutes, my hair looked awesome, but going out, that smell of burnt hair!!Ew! was terrible, and I decided to stop using it. What is the purpose of having beautiful straight hair but in 5 or 6 hrs after making them, they smell burnt. I thus, stopped used my straightener and gave a shot to other straightens. I bought several different ones, my family surprised at my mania but I was desperate to discover an electronic machine that served me best. I am a college student,thus this is the opportunity to discover what works best for me and what does not. And one of the items I bought was this straightener. Initially, one of the teeth become weak and I was wondering why? But as my rule, I use the instrument for a week as suggested before I say a word. I therefore, realized unlike other hair straighteners, this brush does not give a bit of any smell burnt smell. It made me fall in love with it. I do brush my hair before using this straightener but the teeth of brush are becoming weak. As far as making the hair straight, Not as good. I use it for 2 hours, unplugging after every 15 minutes because it is recommended for the material to last longer, to use it for 15 minutes. But still even with 2 hrs, my hair doesn't look as straightened as I would love. *I have thick alot curly hair. That could be a reason it doesn't make as straight as I would love but it makes my hair as straight to be able to wear a scarf, Naturally it would be difficult to wear a scarf without straightening it AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, IT DOESNOT SMELL LIKE A BURNT HAIR.
