What are the exact dimensions, both inside and outside, of the double deep?

The ArtBin Double Deep 4 sides all slope in slightly toward the bottom of container. The front is indented so the handle lays flat, and the back has 2 molded plastic protrusions that serve as feet that do not go to the bottom of the container, when container is placed on end with handle at top (as if you were carrying it by the handle). I'm wondering if anyone has stored very small items, like Legos, and the box is turned upside down, will the pieces stay in their designated compartments? Or mix? Thank you!!

We use ours for storing Legos and it is nearly perfect for the task. The lid does close down tightly against the dividers, as others have stated, however it can bow slightly if the box is flipped upside down, which opens a slight gap. The tiniest Lego pieces can work their way between the top of the divider and the lid if the box is jostled or shook very much while upside down. I'm thinking of getting a thin (1/4" thick) sheet of soft foam rubber to glue to the underside of the lid, as I think this solution would make the seal impenetrable when the lid is closed and latched. The other issue I have is getting my big hands to the bottom of the deep compartments to get to the little Lego pieces out, but my kids don't have this problem. Otherwise this is probably the best thing out there for sorting and storing Legos.

Does anyone know the interior height? The description says 6 1/2 "overall" which makes me think that is exterior. Thanks!

The interior height of the bottom half is 6" you might get another 1/2" in height out of the lid, split down the middle it is 6 1/2" on either side, and the first compartment is about 4" long.
