boggle... but better
We love Boggle, this one is just like it but, better. It is a word game that I can play with myself, or others. The more that play, the bigger the challenge. I also use this as a tool with my children, who are homeschooled. It is a great game for them to practice spelling and finding words. It also has helped increase their vocabulary.Boggle is a 4x4 square game, we have big boggle, which is 5x5, this one is 6x6 and is that much better! Longer words are easier to make, and the stop cube throws in an element that is fun and frustrating at the same time!Great game, good product, great quality!

Go-to game for travelling with anyone!
We originally had the regular sized Boggle game which was 4x4, if I remember correctly, and we always had fun playing it. Until I decided to level things up by getting a bigger version of Boggle that has more letters, additional double-letters, and it even has a blank/block piece which can make your game a bit challenging than normal. Plus the obvious fact that this Boggle has huge letters that everyone can see clearly. This is an absolute must if you or your family/friends like playing these kinds of games especially for travelling. It is one of the best games that can take away screen time from kids and sharpen their brain.Overall, this game is a must-buy!

So big it boggles the mind
As a kid, my parents and I would play Boggle regularly. That very same Boggle set I now play with my own children on occasion, so when I saw this extra large version I was intrigued, and had to have at it.So Super Big Boggle consists of a plastic tray in a 6×6 grid formation, with 36 letter dice to fill those holes and a sand timer so games don't drag on too long. (The regular Boggle is 4×4, by comparison.) Noticeably the tray lid is much squatter than for regular Boggle but this did not affect mixing the dice at all and I think a deeper lid would have been quite unwieldy.Because the grid is much larger, it gives many more opportunities for longer words and the rules even say to not look for three letter words, though you could if you wanted to. Because you are looking for longer words it does change the dynamics of the play quite a lot. In regular Boggle I had a system of gently working my way around the board in 2×2 blocks, finding every word short word I could as it was far more effective to find two three-letter words for two points than to find one five letter word for the same score. In Super Big Boggle this obviously does not work and, instead, you just need to stare at the board to find the longer words, so there's less writing and more pressure. In Super Big Boggle the points for longer words are huge: you get a whopping five points for a seven-letter word, eleven points for eight-letters and then two points per letter for anything longer. And it's not uncommon to find such words. In my recent game my daughter managed to find "antelopes" (18 points) that I did not find to secure the win.As a further wrinkle, two of the dice are somewhat special: there is a die that consists only of letter pairs such as 'th' and 'sh', making those longer words more likely, and a second die that is a solid block on three of its sides, denoting that that grid space is out of play this game. The production quality is middling as you might expect from a Hasbro game: whilst the tray and lid are nice, the letter dice are plastic, rather than wood like they used to be, and several letters in my copy are printed mis-centred. Having said that, the corners of the dice are so chamfered that the dice nearly always all fall into their respective holes without much tapping of the tray at the end. The included timer is fine and there is a useful box insert to hold everything in place. So I think this is an excellent addition to the game library. It differs in feel from regular Boggle without really taking much longer and gives great satisfactory moments when finding long words. Production could be a little better and I feel like it could have been £10 cheaper for what it is, but I'm happy regardless.
