Is this compatible with a hid iclass key fob？Like hid iclass 2050? And is any software needed to write on a Windows system computer?

Hi, These readers will read HID iClass fobs but you will need to source the software required to write to them separately, likely directly from HID.

Yes it does. I have successfullyattached it to Macintosh and Windows computers.

This is called HID, like a keyboard. So does it work like a keyboard emulator and write out the data to a text editor as if typed on a keyboard?
