Q: Latch does not work? The product description says that you may have to move it back and forth. Has anyone had success with this?

Totally worked for me. I opened each box, fully moved the latch "beyond closed," and they work perfectly. Bought 20 of them; have used 18 so far and they're perfect.

Q: Are these the same kind that are sold at Michaels Craft stores?

No, the ones sold at Michael's are for 12x12 inch paper. These are the same brand but a smaller size and only fit the 8.5 x 11 inch paper. The dimensions given for the box in the ad are outside dimensions, not the inside of the box.

Q: why does it take so long to ship??

I don't remember it taking so long to ship. It's been a couple of years since I ordered them.

Q: what are the inner dimensions of the thick case?

I don’t remember. I think the size is given in the description. I’m very happy with them though and the molding is not so thick as to take up extra space.
