Very helpful to shoot in harsh sunlight
Filter is great, but it’ll be worth it if you buy a much higher ND like ND2000 coz ND400 isn’t that sufficient if there’s tooo much sun,it reduces the sharpness too,but for now it’s good with my sigma 30mm lens

Wonderful for the cost
This is great value for money. Only disadvantage is that, it does not have a hard stop at the extremes. So if turned more than the limits a x pattern would appear in the output. It does not have a thread on its other side for a second filter to be added.

Very bad image
Dont buy this item at all. Youre better off buying a nd filter with a single nd value instead of a variable one. It's construction is good and feels solid. Yet it simply fails to properly work as an nd filter. It produced large X shaped shadows throughout the screen which completely make the product unusable. It works alright for very small nd values alright tho.Just get an nd filter with a single value instead of hoping to save money or for versatility, only to end up with a bad product

Black edges
This definitely leads to a black zone on the corners. Would suggest to go for a fixed stage ND instead of this.
