I came across this book many years ago, and I’ve been looking for it ever since. It’s a fantastic look at a Royal Navy man-o-war and does an excellent job teaching you about life on board during the Napoleonic wars

This is a fantastic and very interesting book. It provides a good snapshot of what conditions were like on sailing ships of that period, although by the nature of the format, it doesn't go into great depth on any given aspect of life.In terms of condition, it was bought used and this was visible in minor ways, but it was very gently used and well treated.

This was for a child and because all things to this book interest everyone I took a little peak inside.Wholly fantastic with it's super drawings detail facts and a little push off - dad. As seemingly rare to get such an entertaining insight.I wonder if this publisher can ever think about the evolution of the honey bee - we must wait and see.

Ich habe die Bücher von Patrick O'Brian für mich entdeckt. Am Anfang ist man mit den nautischen Fachbegriffen doch etwas überfordert. Das Buch (obwohl eher ursprünglich für Kinder gedacht) hat mir sehr weiter geholfen.
