Solar Fountain works even better than I thought , quite a few heads to change the look. Even the little kids next door were awed by it..lol.The sun controls the water flow completely, direct sun can send the water up 2 to 3 feet above the fountain, my bird bath is on the small side so I have to fill it a 3 or 4 times on a sunny / windy day.Money well spent this fountain is beautiful and impressive...

Must have direct, full sun light. Doesn't like ducks. Horses hate it. Tends to find the edge no matter what. It was fun for a couple of months. No sits in the shed.

I loved it ! I put it in a big pot with water and work even on cloudy days!! Amazing and have great suction power.

Drinks alot of water, doesn't work well at all times.

I set it in a little ten gallon garden water container and because birds like moving water it attracts them

So in all I have bought three of these, one initial and then two more at once, and at first I was happy with this purchase. The day after the two new pumps came the original one broke. The pump filter was clean, the impeller was free of debris, and the solar top was clean. I could not get the unit working again, even tried spinning the impeller by hand like on some fish tank pumps, no luck.The only modification I made prior was to one of the fountain caps, I added more holes around the side and the top to release pressure and keep the water in the pond container.1 month after the initial pump was in use it failed.

I love my solar water fountain is so relaxing.

Loved it til it didn’t work a few days later. Gonna have to return it and get something that will actually work
