The radio is really nice for the price. I was surprise about the great quality of the sound. But the battery life is no more than 3 to 4 hours.

Fantastic pocket size media player and radio. The sound coming from the 1 1/2 inch speaker is unbelievable, very loud and undistorted. The battery is rechargeable. The battery comes installed, in the radio, in a plastic bag. The bag will need to be removed, for the radio to work. One of it's unique features is that the unit remembers what file it was playing, on either the USB flash or TF flash card, when it is turned off, or when the media is removed and then reinserted later. This a great help when playing story chapters. The memory cards must be formatted FAT32. The NTFS format will not load. The LED display is easily readable, in any light. The TF card socket is spring loaded and will shoot the TF card across the room, if you are not careful when removing it, as I found out (still looking for it). The only complaint I have is with volume control. In the the earphone mode, the audio is mostly off, until the volume control is wide open, and then it is too loud. The earphones I use have a built in volume control, so this is not a problem. In the speaker mode, the volume control works as expected, The unit comes with a special combination charging/aux input cord, that plugs into a radio's mini USB jack. It is charged with a standard USB 5 volt charger or a computer. The aux input allows the audio, from some other source, to be played through this cable. The instructions are in the usual Chinesenglish and require imagination for interpretation. It also has a built-in LED flashlight, that doubles as a charging indicator. It comes withe little stand, attached to the radio with a string. This stand inserts in a slot the back, allowing the radio to stand up vertically. So far I'm very satisfied with the unit.

Bought to listen to F1 GP radio commentary, was perfect. Great sound, great size.

UPDATE: for a very tiny portable radio it's got some power and capabilities. Overall quality is very good. My husband really likes it. It's small enough to fit inside a waterproof phone case. it really depends on what you are using it for. If you need something small, portable and has the quality of any larger radio.. this is for you.Before you embark on purchasing this radio. it was my husband that found it and wanted a portable radio. Make sure you pay attention to the details as this REALLY is portable. It's sooooo small, it's the same size as those old pocket cameras. For $25. I'm not sure it was worth the price for such a teeny tiny radio.The good news is, if my husband doesn't like it, I'm going to bring it with me kayaking as it's sooooo tiny it could literally fit in my waterproof phone case. If that's what you like, go for it.

Compact, Slim, Light Weight, Very Attractive looking, Good Music Sound considering how small it is and a bargain for the low price. Retekess is a Hong Kong company, support Hong Kong! The Radio will Scan ALL the AM and FM stations into it and assign preset button numbers for fast channel selection or you can just press in the frequency you want in AM or FM. I wish you could choose only the stations you want to "Preset", but you can't have everything for this amazingly this low price and high quality. I was very surprised when I opened it and first used it to listen to my favorite FM music station and AM sports radio station. How can they make this quality for this price? If you need a slim compact radio to just carry in your pants or coat pocket, listen to your favorite stations, this fits the bill perfectly. Volume is a little low for noisy areas, so I would recommend using some good noise-canceling earbuds, the radio has a standard earphone 1/8-inch stereo jack. This company also makes a V115 model with incredible sound quality (has a rear Bass Port), AM/FM and SW and it can manually program your stations to the Presets, although it is about 30% larger. I would recommend this radio, with the limitations I listed, if you are looking for a very good pocket-sized AM/FM radio.
