SHEA MOISTURE Coconut And Hibiscus Curl Enhancing Smoothie For Women 20 Oz Cream

I purchased a smaller pot of this product a couple of months back from a chain pharmacy store reluctantly, as I've spent literally THOUSANDS in my time trying find the right product for me. Buying a larger tub isn't possible in UK stores so having this size available on Amazon is far more cost effective (a tub half this size typically retails around £13 at various shops I've seen it stocked). I have European hair but is very coarse, thick and exceptionally curly/frizzy. Also a bit damaged by bleach and 40 + years of abuse! I've tried almost everything on the market (at varying price points) for European and Afro hair types, but was always left disappointed with either a dried up frizzy mess or an oily catastrophe. This actually works...it defines and separates curls without heavy residue, which is unexpected given how thick and creamy the consistency is. I think my hair literally drinks the stuff, so I do get through a fair bit but my hair is quite long (halfway down my back). It doesn't give me any shine, but I can live with that. Finally I can still wear my hair down day 2 after washing. In the past I had to tie hair back after day 1 but with this product, day 2 hair still looks relatively good with a little bit extra product through the ends. Good stuff. Smells lovely. And works...praise GOD!

Brought this as a gift for my sister. She has said that she really enjoys this product. Works really well with her curly hair. She has said that it smells nice and has lasted a long time. She has 2C curls, so cannot comment on any curlier hair, but for her has worked well

I love this product and have bought it several times. It separates my curls nicely. The only thing I would advise is to use it sparingly as it is quite sticky! I would recommend.

Ich verwende das Produkt nun seit 3 Jahren- und bin vollauf zufrieden. Nachdem ich jahrelang experimentiert habe, wie meine Locken denn nun so richtig schön lockig, leicht und fluffig werden, habe ich nun mein persönliches Geheimrezept. Früher waren meine Haare eine Mischung aus Wellen und Locken- mit der richtigen Pflege habe ich nun stolze, schön definierte Locken. Das beste für mich war jedoch die Bewertung eines männlichen Lockenkopfs- dieser hat gleich die für mich optimale Anwendungsempfehlung verfasst- diese habe ich die letzten Jahre etwas aufgebessert: Nach dem Haarewaschen die nassen Haare kämmen, damit die Knötchen entfernt werden. Dann mit einem dünnen Baumwoll-Handtuch die Locken immer schön aufkneten (ich mache es immer kopfüber und wechsle Handtuch und Hände ab). Sobald die Haare anfangen, etwas trockener zu werden, gebe ich je nach bedarf mindestens eine haselnussgroße Menge des Smoothies in die Haare, und knete diese weiter ein. Manchmal benötige ich die doppelte/dreifache Menge- je nachdem, ob ich die Haare luftrocknen oder den Föhn verwende. Mit dem Shea Moisture Smoothie lassen sich meine Locken auch erstmals problemlos föhnen- sonst sahen meine Locken nach dem Föhnen spröde, glanzlos und matt aus. Auch hier knete ich die Locken auf der niedrigsten Geschwindigkeit mit niedriger/mittlerer Temperatur kopfüber- und tadaaa- fertig ist ein schöner Lockenkopf :)

This product lasted me 6+ months, but I do have short hair so keep that in mind. if your hair is naturally curly this product will definitely enhance your curls and it usually does so for about 8-10 hours (from one application), However if your hair is not naturally curly don't expect this product to make your hair curly.

Not the same product plus more expensive than the other offers for this version wich is not as good as the old … be careful
