Super Strength B-12, 5000mcg, 2 Oz (Pack of 2)

I started using Nature's Bounty Super Strength B-12 years ago when my older brother recommended it. He told me that Metformin (for type 2 diabetes) can cause vitamin B-12 deficiency. I was feeling low energy and a few of my toes were feeling kind of numb: both symptoms of B12 deficiency. My brother took Metformin years before I started and was warned about B-12 deficiency as a side effect by his doctor. I'm really glad he warned me! Nature's Bounty B-12 supplement made a definite positive difference in my quality of life. One thing I like a lot about the Nature's Bounty B-12 is the taste is agreeable to me. B-12 can be pretty bitter but not this one. It has very tolerable taste for me and that's a plus. Do you need vitamin B-12? I suggest consulting a Doctor if unsure. WebMD and a number of other sites list symptoms of B-12 deficiency. They include (I only had a couple of them): + Feeling Weak, tired, or light headed + Heart palpitations and shortness of breath + Pale skin + A smooth tongue + Constipation, diarrhea, a loss of appetite, or gas + Nerve problems like numbness or tingling, muscle weakness, and problems walking + Vision loss + Depression, memory loss, or behavioral changes In the last two orders of Nature's bounty B-12 I've gotten leaky bottles. Taking my latest order out of the box and just removing the plastic covered my hands with the bright red B-12 liquid. Luckily it washes off easily... The bottles were not broken or damaged. It appears the caps are not sealing well. They don't only leak around the threads, but around the where the dropper goes through the cap. I have only had this problem my last two orders in the last 12 months. Never for years before. Maybe getting two leaky orders like this in a row is a rare coincidence. I hope so. It is not enough to make me change brands... yet. In conclusion, I can deal with some messiness in the current bottles. I find that after years of no problems it is somewhat disappointing. The real bottom line for me is this B-12 works for me. If I go on a trip and miss using my B-12 for a few days I can feel a drop in energy. This would be 5 stars but given the recent leaking bottle issue I can only give 4. If you get a package that doesn't leak, consider this a 5 star recommendation. UPDATED 23-0ct-2016 I have just opened my 2nd bottle in the more recent package. No leaking yet on that bottle. I'm happy and if the next order has no leaking I'll upgrade my rating to 5 stars then. UPDATED 1-July-2017 I got another order with no leaking - looks like that problem may be in the past. As mentioned above I'm raising this to 5 stars. It just works for me and now with no leaking bottle. Much better. Hope this helps someone.

I’m not sure if it’s a placebo effect but I feel more energy, more alertness and better sleep since he started taking Natures Super Strength liquid B12. been using it for about 10 days.

Medically I need B-12. I have been injecting it for 4 years. I had been told that liquids and pills did not work. The injections were painful. Constant pain and bruises. Two weeks ago I asked my new Dr. to review the injection process as I had to be doing something wrong. She not only said I should be taking the liquid, but brought up this product on Amazon. I ordered a 2 bottle supply. I've been using it for 11 days now and find it superior to injections probably because I skipped so many due to pain of injecting. This product works very well and I am extremely pleased. I don't miss a day and feel better and stronger.

I love this liquid B 12. It is so easy to take. When place beneath your tongue it gets into your system faster.

This is so easy to use. You put 1mL of the liquid under your tongue, count to thirty, and swallow. It has a nice cherry flavor. It's great for people who have trouble taking pills.
