They're brass lamp harps, they fit well into their little slots. The finial is undecorative, but unobtrusive. They do exactly what they're supposed to do, which is hold 9-10in tall spider-style lampshades. A good value, and they even come with the proper harp holders, if you want to replace them on an old lamp, or convert to a spider-style.

There are different screw sizes for lamps. Why are these only sold in the smaller size?Price was good though.
