Return of the Mummy (Classic Goosebumps #18)

I got this book to read to my son as I wanted a story based around a mummy character as that's what we thought he was going to be for world book day so he would know who/what he was dressed as. The book was too old for him but that didnt matter too much. I read a few chapters to him but there wasn't much happening and no mention of the mummy but I continued to read the book to myself so I could tell him the story. It was good but long winded, but I found myself wanting to read on to find out about the mummy who finally surfaced in chapter 21 and the ending was a bit disappointing. Obviously the stories are for children not adults but I did enjoy it anyway.

It’s a very interesting book and an enjoyable read.
