Mid 50s guy who got this for shaving my beard. Very heavy, feels well made, and the threads are smooth. Blade (BIC) locked in like a charm. Shaved with Proraso shaving soap and the razor glides nicely. No nicks or discomfort. I think it's good value for money and keeping my fingers crossed that it will last years.

firstly, it comes in such a variety of gorgeous colours, and not only is it a weighted razor to help you get the closest shave without having to push on the razor, but it’s also double edged so that both sides are useable!! this is an incredible product, very easy to assemble and it also works with any double edged razor blades but the package comes with a supply of 10 blades anyways! happy shaving girlies! 😍 5⭐️’s without a doubt and i’ll be recommending to all my girlfriends!

This is my first safety razor, after a few years of considering one. Bought and used with Astra Platinum (green) blades. Have had a few shaves out of it now, using a couple of blades. Started with legs, then under arms and eventually braved the bikini area. I'm very pleased overall. It's easier to manage than expected, and has a good length handle with grip so I'm confident with wet hands. The combination of razor and blade seem compatible for me and my skin, and whilst it needs a little more time than with a cartridge / disposable, it's a more satisfying experience overall and the results are significantly better. I have had a couple of minor clumsy moments catching myself with the blade, but they were during set up not the actual shave - can't blame the razor for that. Since buying the razor I've done some of the research I probably should have done before purchase. I'm not sure I'd have chosen this razor if I'd done that research beforehand, but that does the razor a disservice. Jungle Culture doesn't seem to be very well known in the razor world but I'm very happy with my purchase. The only real negative is that after relatively few, careful uses, a little paint has chipped away. I don't believe it has made sufficient contact with any other surface to warrant the chip, so I hope that isn't a sign it will deteriorate quickly. I bought this to last and will be disappointed if it has to be replaced soon.

Excellent sustainable razor, it works so much better than the plastic ones. The removable blades last very long, I haven't bought a new box in years as I still haven't finished the first. The razor comes with a nice wee bag which is nice to have for travel. Easy to clean. If it's left in a humid bathroom in between uses, the blades get dull much faster.

If you can get the hang of shaving with this, it's brilliant but it does take some practise not to slice yourself initially! I had been using an epilator for years and this is NOT a beginner item. Yes, it's a 'safety' razor but if we're being honest, it's still pretty easy to cut yourself and I've had many scabs on my legs and knees to prove the fact. My advice - don't try to shave too quickly. Take your time to do it and you'll be fine. That aside, this is FAR more environmentally-friendly that horrible disposable razors, it's easy to pack, looks great in the bathroom, the blades are easily replaceable when they get dull (takes ages for that to happen as well - maybe once every 4 months or so?), and I really find this a far better option than anything else. Why did we let the beauty industry convince us we needed to buy a load of plastic rubbish over something that's more affordable, looks good, is sturdy and lasts for decades?!!?

I have purchased this razor twice now after the first one I bought shattered into pieces after it's first fall in the shower from a shower caddy. I thought maybe it was a fluke and my first one just wasn't made robust enough or something but after it just happened again with the 2nd one, I'm done with this brand. The entire top section sheared off in the impact. There is no saving it. Yes when not broken, the razor works and has some good qualities but it is very unbalanced in weight as the handle is too heavy and causes unbalanced use. It clearly isn't made well enough because the disposable razor blades are outlasting this device that is holding them. Avoid this product if you don't want to have to keep replacing them.

I purchased this almost 2 years ago and it is still going strong. I thought that the colour may chip after a while but it’s still looking great. I’m sure it has saved lots of money in disposable razors and I like that it’s eco friendly too. It has quite a weight to it (if you are used to disposable) and that does most of the work for you so no need to apply lots of pressure when shaving. I would recommend keeping it in a dry place between uses as i did find that the blades caused come rusting on the head of the razor when i left it in the shower, but it was easy enough to scrub back to clean. I would definitely buy another in the future but I imagine I’ll get at least a few more years out of it yet.

Great product, well built, works great. However,lack of grip on the head makes changing the blade difficult/dangerous if the handle is tightened too much. A small redesign to have thumba nd finger grips on the sides of the head would be great. Fortunately didn't bleed too much.

Great easy to use safety razor! Super easy to assemble, blades were wrapped well. I have no complaints and would totally recommend to anyone looking for an alternative to disposable razors.

This is my second razor, I loved the original. This however is some new design, it has a stamped head instead of the cast head the old one had, it feels cheaper and it cut the hell out of me. Save your money and buy one of the quality German razors, they are only about $10 more.

This is my first safety razor after using disposable razors for about 15 years. It takes some getting used to, but I feel that I can get as satisfying a shave as I had before. This product gives me the opportunity to save a lot of money on razor blades while also reducing the amount of single use plastic that I contribute to landfills.
