HermitshellHard Travel Case for Elgato Stream Deck 15 Customizable LCD Keys Live Content Creation Controller

I purchased a Loupedeck Live (amazing controller!) from Amazon to improve my mobile editing workflow. "Mobile" being the key word here, and I needed a solid case to protect my $250+ investment. Loupedeck makes a pretty uninspiring case for this device, only available to order from them, priced at $50 + tax & shipping. Not willing to swallow the price of a Pelican for a tiny felt soft case, I went to one of my other favorite case brands, Hermitshell. Hermitshell doesn't appear to make a dedicated Loupedeck Live controller case, but this one works just as well, and maybe even better than one that was perfectly fitted to the device.As you can see in my pictures, this case provides EXACTLY enough room for the Loupedeck Live and it's little clip on stand. Ditch the sad little velcro divider, and the stand fits in around the top and bottom of the controller and keeps it tight in the case, with the added security of a velcro strap. I can add both of my Sandisk Extreme 1TB editing drives by setting them between the knobs, covering the screen for added protection. These drives are rubberized, so no worries about scratches to the screen. Throw a USB-C cable for the controller and a couple Thunderbolt cables in the mesh pocket, and we've got a fully contained mobile-editing content creation kit in one tiny little box.The EVA case is actually very rigid, and I have had no issues with throwing this loose in any of my bags with my Logitech MX3s (also in a perfectly-fitted Hermitshell case) and various accessories, everyday carry items, and my 65% mechanical keyboard. Also small enough to easily fit in a larger hard case for going on the road. I now have a perfect take-anywhere editing kit. Very much worth the $15! Hermitshell is the highest quality EVA case I've found among the Chinese case brands. Don't bother with LTGEM or any of the others. If there's a Hermitshell in the size you need, get the Hermitshell. The mesh, sewing, material, zippers, everything is dialed on these.

It fits my stream deck perfectly and, more importantly, it is properly equipped to transport the device without risking any damage to the USB cable. The notch that allows the cable to be stored in a natural position without bending it was the deciding factor that drove me to choose this case and I'm so glad I did!

The dimensions looked right to fit my Accsoon CineEye 2 Pro. The CineEye 2 pro comes well packed in the box and I wanted a case that would hold the protective material within the box without needing the box. This was a good price and works really good. I pack this easily with my other video gear and glad I don't have to carry around the box on my shoots.Probably good for other uses such as cable, etc. The case is very soft and not protective, so I would not place electronics in there without protective foam (such as with my CineEye 2 Pro protective foam) but it is not designed to protect electronic gear. Great product for the price!
