On first use, a couple of the rollers clicked apart but that's honestly because I wasn't being careful. If you practice and take your time, they won't come apart and even if they do it's easy to fix them. Good value for the quality, I would recommend them to anyone trying to achieve heatless curls or waves or even just a bit of extra body if you don't have time to keep in then for very long.

I read so many reviews that described these rollers as being vacuum packed and smashed, and that soaking was necessary to get them back in shape. The rollers I received were not vacuum packed, nor were they smashed. They were ready to use when I got them. I have long hair, and previous to buying this set, I bought a set that was .98" in diameter. This was to small for my liking as the curl was too tight. These rollers are a little over 1.5" in diameter and are perfect for me. Previous to getting these rollers, I was curling my hair every day with a rotating curling iron which was drying out the ends of my hair. In addition, the curl wasn't lasting at all - especially with the high humidity of summer. The last few nights, I have been setting my dry hair with these roller just before I go to bed. It takes me about 10 minutes to get all of my hair into the rollers. I don't have any problems rolling my hair, and haven't had any problems with the clips letting loose. These rollers are so soft to sleep on, I haven't had any problems sleeping on them. I don't cover the rollers with anything, and none have them have let loose during the night. I have found them to be very easy to use and comfortable to sleep in. By setting my hair at night before I go to bed, I no longer have to use the curling iron the next day, and the curl actually lasts longer than when using the curling iron. My next test is to spray mist the curlers after I put them into my hair. This may help the curl on the longer hair to last longer the next day. As mentioned above, I have had no problems with having to soak the roller before using them (maybe the packaging has changed). After I take them out of my hair, they are a little scrunched, but I take them out and let them sit until I get dressed. They are all back in shape and ready to be put away when I get dressed. Also, as mentioned, I have had no problems with them holding together or coming loose in the night. UPDATE 06/04/21: As mentioned previously, I have long hair. My hair is very resistant to holding curl. When I was using the curling iron, my hair looked nice when I first did it, but by the time I got from the second floor of my house to the first floor, it was already straightening. Within a half hour, especially with the humidity of the summer, you would never guess I had attempted to curl my hair. For the first couple of times I used these roller, I rolled my hair dry the night before. There was plenty of curl when I first took the curlers out, and the curl did last a few hours on the longest part of my hair. The curl on the top of my head became a looser curl after a couple of hours, but still nice all day. Last night, I spray misted my hair before rolling it so it was slightly damp. For the first time in years, the curl lasted all day and into the evening. I am thrilled. The curl did loosen a bit, but this is so much better than burning my hair with a curling iron or getting a perm that makes me look like I stuck my finger in an electrical socket. Having used these roller for 4 night in a row, I have found they are easy to use, stay in the entire night, and, most importantly, they are extremely comfortable to sleep on. Personally, I am very happy with these curlers, and would recommend them. I hope this review was helpful for you.

Richtig, sie sind Vakuumisiert. Doch kein Problem.

There are unfair negative reviews for these. But look they hair rollers ... They're not an iPhone or a smart TV. They're going to be flimsy. These kind are as flimsy as the authentic ones my Nan had in the 50s. Whether or not they work depends on a few things: The cut of your hair.- my hair is feathered. So you get more volume out of your curls with a textured layer and feather in your hair. (No, layering and feathering are not the same thing- I have both) If you have long straight hair you will curl the ends more than the strands. The hair type - the easiest way to explain this is whether or not you're hair is oily or dry. My hair is dryer than most. So when I wash it it's harder to keep in shape it holds for the morning and drops as the day progresses. So I spritz with a curling serum or hair spray before I put them in. They stay easier the next day without washing. The length of time they're in- just like in the 50s these rollers need to be in for a considerable amount of time. In the bygone days our grannies had them in when their husbands left for work and kept them in until before he's due home. That's a good 9 hours. Today, you might be the one heading out the door to work. So, and this is key, SLEEP IN THEM. Most rollers back then are plastic. For the simple reason no one really wore them to bed. But sponge rollers allow this. Round up- I save so much time on a morning. I simply leave removing the rollers to the last minute. usually I don't need to do anything but spritz with hair spray. But if they get a little tangled as the day progresses Then I brush gently with a G-COMB. When they arrive they all flat and horrible but once the air gets in after a few hours they puff right up positives : can sleep comfortably Affordable. Easy to use No heat Negatives: They are easily broken but all rollers of this type are really. Be gentle.
