Durvet Spectra Shield Collar Attached Medallion, 30 to 55-Pound

I heard about these flea and tick tags from a friend a couple of years ago and they work great! I have been using them for the last 4 years and my dog has never had a tick with the tag on. This is really saying something because she roams near our woods and loves being outside. These tags are easy to put on and last for about 4 months, so I buy 3 tags a year. This is cheaper than using frontline and there are many known side effects with liquid flea and tick repellent. I have now gotten my most of my family using this product for their pets. I highly recommend spectra shield!

I personally have been using spectra shield for over 12 years now. I have never had a problem with fleas or ticks on my dogs ever since using these. I have raved about them to all my friends and they were using other products. after them witnessing my dogs with no fleas or ticks while theirs had them with other products they are now asking me to order Spectra shield for their pets! The cost and protection from Spectra shield cant be beat.....2 medallions for 30 to 40 bucks covers the whole season...where as other products have to be replaced monthly and cost almost as much as a season supply of Spectra shield. best value in my opinion and even better is unbelievable protection! I will always use Spectra Shield for my pets

Fleas have a life cycle where they lay eggs and the eggs develop into fleas in 3 months. This shield and other products like this, kill the fleas only upon touch. They don't kill the eggs, so you'll have the same problem in 3 months, plus a continuous problem with the fleas in between. Go to the vet and get medicine that takes care of the root of the problem. Don't do as I did and spend over $200 on useless products like this.

I have a 9 yr old Goldendoodle that I’ve used this product for since she was 6 months old. It is a great affordable product that not only works but works for months.

It is way larger than expected, thought it would be the size of a normal dog tag bit it's about half the size of a TV remote control and an odd color, not attractive at all, does seem to be working though, so that's good.

Our dogs do not like the liquid flea and tick treatment. We don't either. I feel like I have to quarantine them until it is absorbed.I was looking for an alternative flea and tick guard for them. I tried the spectra shield. We have a puggle and a German Shepard/husky mix. I wasn't so sure it would work for them since they have double coats. It has been 2 months and they are bug free! So are we! With the German shepard mix, if a tick would cling onto his fur it would drop off on us. That has not happened since he has been wearing the shield!
