No, it’s very thin and pliable plastic. Very hard to hook together and to have pieces stay connected.

Q: Can you change the configuration of the squares? I would like to be able to also use this for an obstacle course as well.

yes you can. The only limit is the number of connectors vs. the configuration you have in mind.

Q: What age range is the hopscotch designed for?

It is really easy to trip on. I would not recommend it for any age.

Q: Does this include the instruction/rules for Hopscotch?

An instruction sheet comes inside the package. I don’t know what was on it (never looked). We use these in our Little Ninja program.
