I have used saniflo products for 10 plus yrs now.they are an excellent pump, and to have an alarm as a back up to a problem, keeps my mind at ease.installation was fast and easy.when tested the alarm was loud, and got your imediate attention. .thank saniflo again for me,and thank you amazon for your quick delivery. I highly recommend this product, from saniflo.

The item appears to be straight foreword. All the necessary components were there and I do believe it will function as designed. However, the installation, particularly the black tube that needs to be installed in the 3/8inch hole that you drill, does not cooperate. I needed to lube the tube and gently use a flat head screw driver to persuade the tube into the hole. Then, when the tube was in as far as it could be twisted in, I used my palm and tapped it in. I understand the logic of the contraption, but I feel there is a better way. How about have the hole pre drilled and capped from the factory. I hope to never hear the alarm.

Last one lasted 7 years. Only had to be replaced because I accidentally broke it. My only real complaint is there is no warning that the batteries are dying. For the price, can you just put in a sealed lithium?
