A Christmas gift for my son. I wanted something better than the Wal-Mart Special but didn't want to spend several hundred dollars for his first skateboard. The Element was perfect. He loves it and his friends all want one.

My 11 year old picked this skate board out. I was reluctant to buy untested on line. But we both were dissatisfied with what we found at the local Walmart regarding quality. When this skate board arrived I was pleasently surprised by the quality of bearings and elasomeric components. Even I (a 50+ gentlemen) can ride this thing down the road with ease and pleasure versus the previous cheapo versions. I had not appreciated how much the improved quality of components and design could improved my sons skate board experience. Be sure to pick for your size, weight and skill range so the board best fits your parameters.

My son loves it but he did break his arm twice since we bought it. He did say the bearings on the wheels weren't that great, but other than that he likes it.

Buy as a gift for my godson and he was very happy with it. Nice design too : the big logo make his mate jealous ;-)
