PentelEnerGel Alloy Retractable Liquid Gel Pen, Red Barrel, Black Ink, 1 pack (BL407B-A)

I purposely waited a long time before doing a review on these pens. I wanted to see how they’d hold up over time. I bought 3 (red, blue, and purple). Yes….I color code my ink pens. I use the purple for black ink. I’ve had all three of these pens for 9 months now and they are still going strong (with re-fills of course). They are very sturdy and comfortable to hold. The colors are nice and they write well. These pens have paid for themselves many times over. They stand out and look very professional. When at work, no matter what other pens are laying around, people always ask to borrow MY pen. I like these so much, I don’t lend them. People always look at me crazy when I have my pen in my hand, yet I turn around to find one they can use. No one’s walking away with this one. Sorry, get your own.

This will be for both pens (Red and Gold). These Pentel EnerGel Alloy are amazing roller ball pens! They just feel like floating on the paper and writing so smooth and fluid. Ink doesn't smear and is permanent. With a nice heft to the pen, doesn't feel like it will fly out of your hands. The colors are eye catching and beautiful (still want a Orange Alloy barrel... Pentel, you listening?) :)Only thing I didn't like, and this isn't about the pen but the shipment of them. Both were placed in a big box with the Red one in no packaging and has some marring because of being tossed around during shipment. Thankfully, the Gold one was in a box and secure inside that small box to not have any marring of the finish. And oh, the Gold one... you will get some people asking about that one! Very rich and vivid in color. Will get attention!

I’m a pen snob and this is my absolute favorite pen. Coworkers have borrowed it and commented about how nice it is…I keep backups and have given them to coworkers and friends. They’re always happy about the gift. Seriously though, they are weighted nicely, metal body so they hold up well and they write beautifully. I wish the ink lasted longer but I do use them a lot so it’s understandable that an ink cartridge would only last for about a month for my heavy use.

I mark up a script with the Pentel black ink pen, then make notes and revisions with the vibrant red ink Pentel pen. Both are excellent, pleasurable work tools. I like them so much I use the Pentel ink refills.

I gave this pen away as a gift. I have the silver one, and it performs well.It is all metal (Aluminum Alloy). It feels good in my hand. I am a right-hander, but it would be great for a South Paw also, as the ink dries almost instantaneously. Easy to refill with EnerGel refills, and it's a click pen, so it's easy to use. Well worth the price!

I’m a pen person and this is the best all around pen for me. It has a great feel. It’s a perfect weight. It writes smoothly and it comes in a variety of colors. I often gift them to people and they ask where to buy them. I highly recommend them and encourage you to give them a try. You won’t be disappointed.

I'm a nurse and a good pen is really important. I love the feel & weight of this pen! I bought 2. The first day I dropped one pen and the top clicker broke. The other pen lasted a couple months - I dropped it and it would no longer work. The disposable pens are lighter (I like the heavier one) - but they don't break when dropped. I probably won't be spending the money on the nicer, heavier pens again.

I wore one of these out. It took me twelve years and countless refills, but I wore it out. I bought this one in red and it has the same great feel in my hand, it sounds different, of course. I will get used to it, it's only been a few months, after all.

These pens are exceptional. If you like a heavy, nicely balanced pen this is the one for you. The ink quality is excellent well.The pens are great to write with and they are as close to writing with a fountain pen as possible.If you want a solid, durable, very functional pen this is the one for you. Amazon sells them in whatever colour you like. I replace the red pen with a red refill to replace the black one Pentel includes with the pen.

These are the best pens I have ever used. Writes brilliantly and not overly expensive. Refills in loads of different colours.

...suelto sin plastico o papel de protección externo, en un sobre de cartón A5 :-(Lo demás: es pesado, el gel no escribe con regularidad en todos los papeles y, sobre todo, la pegatina barcode' no sale. Todas las fotos aqui la muestran, es feo y hace 'cheap' en un boli' que pretiende ser de gama media o mejorzito' que los de plastico normales. Intenté quitarlo pero nada, el color se va a salir junto... Hecho in India, es una aleación de metal (no-magnético) demasiado pesado (y solo mi gusto personal aqui...) el clip es fuerte en metal, el butón plástico cromado, creo...Si lo hubiera visto en manos en una papeleria/tienda fisica no lo hábria comprado, pero hay dias así...Lo voy a regalar que no se impuso. Lo pagué € 8 es un boli de € 4, no justifica el precio.3 estrellas todo, que es mediano

Love this pen. Writes really well, feels good in your hand. Solid pen. Have had a few of these and the click part of the pen almost always breaks after a few months.
