Great product, arrived in good time. Was skeptical because of the low price at first (thought they may be second hand etc.), but they are absolutely perfect. An amazing deal!

This is just the series of books and not any kind of special collectors edition. That's what I wanted as I planned to gift them individually.

The set is NOT the one in the photo but the new print thats basic and awful. I am SO disappointed. This is not what I wanted I literally saved up for it to be mislead.

The typeface for this editionb is too small, too tight and indistinct. Very poor quality product, not worth the money in any way shape or form.

Very happy with this. I love the series but I've never been able to track find all the books since some of them were out of print. This gave me all the books in the series plus a nice set with matching cover styles and a design that stretches across the spines of all the books. I can't imagine somebody buying this who isn't already invested in the series, but if you've never read any of these books, I'd recommend not starting with "Consider Phlebas". It's a good book, but I give this recommendation for two reasons. First, main character is actively opposing The Culture civilization, which is an interesting point of view but doesn't make for the best introduction to The Culture. Second, The Culture in this book isn't quite what it becomes in the later books, so again not the best introduction. I would recommend "Player of Games" as a better starting point, then "Use of Weapons", then "Consider Phlebas"

great series. the books have you on the edge of your seat and even on the last pages there's a surprise. 10/10 would recommend. the culture series to any sci-fi lover
