Bought as gift for friends. Bright colors and a cute story about becoming grandparents. They loved it!

If you're looking for a cute gift to give to a new grandparent, this is perfect. It's basically just a long poem about how wonderful being a grandparent is.I gave this to my mother when my son was born and she just loved it. She immediately held the tiny newborn infant on her lap and read this book to him, explaining to him all along the way about how close they were going to become. (For what it's worth, I believe he slept through the entire experience.)It's not the great American novel by any means. But it's a great gift for a new grandparent who will appreciate the short little tale inside.

I bought this for a gift. My dear friend is going to be a first-time grandparent. She loved it, and everyone else did, too. I think it may not be read very often after the first read, because it's really for the grandparent, but it is still thoughtful and cute and really lends itself to celebrating being a grandparent. I'd buy again.

I bought this as a gift for my in-laws who have nourished a love of reading in our child with endless gifts of books to mark many occasions, big and small. This is a funs storybook FOR grandparents, telling the story of becoming a grandparent and all of the joys that come with it in the years that follow. Its a very nice and thoughtful way to say thank you for all that they do.And the pictures and rhyming stories make it perfect for grandkids to enjoy along with them.

This is a lovely book to purchase for first-time grandparents. It was given to me by a very special friend, to mark the coming of my first granddaughter. I was touched by the story, as my friend welcomed me to the world of being "Grand!" I have since started my own tradition of gifting this special book to all of my dear friends, as they join me in the "Grand" world! My book arrived in perfect condition, this makes me happy! In the past I have had hard cover books arrive with the dust jacket torn, not this one though! Thank you for the quick shipping!

Super cute book! We gave it to our parents as a Christmas gift before the baby comes. Initially, we bout it with the idea that they could read it to the baby, but this is a book FOR grandparents, so there isn't much use for reading to baby, just to keep in mind!
