The media could not be loaded. My previous solar fountain died when it was just over one year old. I looked at the reviews for several of the offerings by Amazon and chose this one mostly because of its simplicity and low price. I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it is to disassemble for cleaning. Unlike most of the others, it is possible to remove the rotor from the pump motor, thus enabling it's cleaning as well.The pump is quite a performer! It produces a stream around three feet high with the single opening tube. The problem with that is the fountain must be refilled several times a day if there is any wind. I found that using just the straight tube with no attachments provides plenty of water motion and limits water loss to that caused by evaporation - and what the birds splash out! I suspect that all that power could produce a more attractive display in a larger fountain.I have only had it for a month so cannot testify to its longevity, though I suspect it will exceed those without the motor disassembly feature.The majority of the accompanying video was shot on an overcast day. That makes it appear as though the cleaning did not have much effect. I assure you, it does. The pump does require strong light to work. As can also be seen in the video, it just kind of burps in low light. In fact, it sometimes stops completely when the whole surface is shaded. That is OK for my purpose, which is mostly to provide water and bathing for the birds without worrying about mosquitos.

I had one just like this and it worked great for several years. The solar part got a white film and eventually it wouldnt come off. It still worked until the little motor stopped working. This one is too small for the pot I use for my fountain. I don't like it.

This is one of the best little inventions I've seen in a long time. It takes a simple bird bath and turns it into something extraordinary. the bees and the butterflies love it. Works consistently as long as the sun is shining on it ☀️

The media could not be loaded. I gave this product 3 stars because it does work as the description states. However, I regret the purchase and do not recommend unless you live in a place that is always sunny.- The fountain will not work unless it is in FULL sun, hence, it will not work in the shade of a tree or an overcast day. I added a video to show what it does on a cloudy day, it gurgles. The fountain doesn’t charge like some of my other solar items. I wanted to put it right under a tree branch for the birds because they prefer to come down for a drink and fly back to a tree for safety. I’m unable to use the fountain as I wanted.- If the sun comes and goes, the fountain does too. The water will spurt out the top.- I did appreciate the little plastic straws that help keep the fountain in the center.- The water has to be at least 2 inches deep to allow the fountain to work. If working as stated, the fountain will shoot too high and it ends up splashing water out of the birdbath. Maybe it would work better with something deeper than what I’m using. I’m constantly having to fill up the bath.- My birdbath was a happening place until I put the fountain in. Enough said.

They are a great size for keeping birdbath water moving, and also small water features. They also have several different opening tops to suit what you are using them for.

So cute to put in a bowl with water for the birds. Looks pretty in my flower garden. Just make sure to keep adding water periodically. 5 stars for the reasonable price.

I liked the idea that with a minimum of work it is possible to create a nice Atmosphere and have a water feature in my small garden. Lately the solar panels stopped working even though we are still in summertime and gave plenty of sun. It worked well for about 5 months.

The fountain works quite well but the plastic tubes that keep the fountain from floating/blowing to the edge middle of the "bowl" are not effective. The product needs metal tubes can preferably be screwed in place I have bought this product before and had the same problem with the tubes failling off, bending folding.

It is a bit smaller than I thought it would be but it works really well. The fountain is about 7 inches high when it is in the sun. It doesn’t seem to store power so if it is overcast it doesn’t work. The birds love it

U just need to try all the fittings and see which one suit ms your space and wind conditions.... Needs full sun... Even a shadow n it stops...Needs a big shallow basin or something.... Otherwise the water drops out and you have to keep refilling
