Fits well in my kitchen and bakes great cookies!
I’ve had my new GE for about a month and have used it a handful of times as my kitchen gets remodeled. I love the sleek top and now that my kitchen is completed I’mexcited to try the air fry feature. I baked cookies last night and they came out perfect! They were evenly baked through and not one bit burnt!I’m pleased. This appliance fits beautifully into the space it is placed in .

Awful fit
Several problems with the fit of this appliance:* Older slide-in ranges had a lip. The cooktop extended about an inch to hide the edge of the countertop. This one does not. You get to look at the countertop seam. if the seam has been tucked under a cooktop for 10 years, where it's impossible to wipe off, it will likely be quite a thing to look at.* The $100 trim kit is a couple of pieces of beveled metal to glue to the countertop. It makes the stove look like a kid's shop project.* This is deeper than the older slide-in ranges. It might not push back far enough if you're installing it in an island. We had to whack an inch off the back of our countertop. Even then, the body of the oven is at cabinet depth but the controls stick way out there.* There's a handle on the lower drawer. It sticks out far enough to cause problems. In our case, the dishwasher sitting at right angles to the stove had plenty of space to clear the closed oven door, but would hit the lower door handle. You can remove the handle, but then you're looking at 6 holes in the front of your drawer.* It's kind-of possible to swap the front of the lower drawer with a part from the 30" freestanding ranges. The replacement door doesn't have any holes, but it does extend about an inch lower to the floor. It might rub if you have the leveling legs all the way in. You'll also have to shim out the lower edge with some one-by.The stove cooks well. There's a learning curve in keeping a glass cooktop clean and shiny, but I don't think that's a fault exclusive to this brand. If it only fit properly, it would be a great stove.
