The best beater watch ever

Great workhorse mechanical watch. The bracelet is surprisingly nice and comfortable. Accuracy is fine for an everyday mechanical movement at about + 8 secs/ day. The auto wind function eliminates the need to ever wind the watch if it is actively worn every day. I haven’t needed to manually wind it at all after the first initial time. I’m very satisfied so far.

Nice watch. I saw it talked about highly on YouTube and for being a good value for money and it probably was a good value when those videos were created and the price was quite a bit cheaper. At the current price of over $100, it is not really that great of a value. There’s plenty of other watches with better machining, more premium materials, etc. at this price or less. However, I still like it. It’s got a vintage vibe to it and, from what I understand, has been pretty much unchanged since it was created back in the 40s or 50s or something, so that’s cool. The bracelet is not as horrible as mentioned in all the YouTube videos, but it’s not great either, but totally serviceable. I’m glad I bought it.

First impression: Feels somewhat cheap in your hand and on the wrist. Many of the internet/ youtube reviews are not very accurate. Will update with accuracy in a few days.

Cannot go wrong with a Vostok. This a great, classic Amphibia watch that feels just right. The band is the typical Vostok band, so it is useful to change it.

This is my first mechanical watch. It is a substantial chunk of metal in a good way. The diameter of the watch is perfect for me. What I wasn’t expecting was the depth. This watch is a thick boi. The face and finish are beautiful, length is easily adjustable, and although setting the date is a little cumbersome I love the tactile mechanicalness of it. This watch is not dainty but I fell in love instantly.

Update 2: After earlier review, vendor offered to replace watch and I accepted. Replacement is much better, just 5 seconds slow per day which is really quite good. Thanks Amazon for making the return easy; shipped yesterday via Kohls. Updated: After wearing it for a week, it runs VERY fast - over 60 seconds per day, outside spec for Vostok watches. Timegrapher shows considerable beat error, which may be source of inaccuracy. Lowered rating to 2 stars as result. I also did not receive described gift box or quick release pins. Mine arrived in cheap plain cardboard box .. despite photo of nice presentation box in description. Similarly, quick release pins are also explicitly mentioned in description, but they too were not included. Even if some consider these minor issues, it's fundamentally wrong to describe something and then not ship as described. Otherwise, the watch is nice, seems to keep good time (about 15 seconds slow), and wears well. I did have to buy a tool to remove links and size the bracelet, but that's standard for any watch with a bracelet.

Watch are Costly..and belt is not good as per price .watch movement 24 hours in 10 minutes fast. This price sapphire glass not given .Overall ok. I were 1 year.
