I bought this to help clean out a nozzle and it worked well, they are not your traditional pipe cleaner as these are tapered and have small plastic fibers to help the cleaning process, they feel a bit rough but being plastic bristles woven into the cleaner work well

Good quality, bristled pipe cleaners. Tapered too. Great to dip into a dram of whiskey, to clean out your favourite tobacco pipes. Would have gone 5 stars, but the price is far too high. Double what you'd pay in an prestigious pipe shop. Product is grand, though, if you can't get to your pipe shop, and do not mind paying extra.

We go through now two packs of these each month - the little spiky bits are excellent for loosening and scraping out the grime from PAX 😊 My only issue is that the pack isn't big enough!! lolWorth the money though, decent quality kit to have in your vaping or smoking arsenal 👍🏻

I suspect these are excellent cleaners for actual pipes.I bought them for craft, looking for cotton rather than than plastic for environmental reasons.These have some sort of little plastic spines sticking out along the stem - which no doubt aid for cleaning purposes. They are not dangerous for craft, just not comfortable to hold as they have these little prickles sticking out.
