Found my PSP when closet cleaning and my oldest daughter was interested in playing a "retro" game system that is as old as she is. The PSP was working fine plugged in but the OEM battery would not hold a charge. Removing the battery it was bulging and needed to be replaced. This battery fit perfect and holds a charge longer than the OEM from my memory. After 2 months with weekly use the battery is working fine and only required a couple of recharges (games played were all off of disc and not memory stick). We are happy to have the game back in operation.

UPDATE:After several emails a replacement battery was sent.Oh his one works as advertised and fits the PSP much better too. The product arrived with a charge, which was wonderful since I had just received a PSP the day before and wanted to make sure it worked. It was very easy to pop it in, and the quality appears to be great. The only part about this product I found weird is that despite what the listing says, this DOES work on PSP 1000's. I had ordered a PSP 3000 model and received the wrong one (PSP 1001) by mistake and only noticed after swapping the batteries. I'm certainly not complaining, I just thought it was funny and wanted to include it in case anyone ends up in a similar situation.

Bought a PSP from a pawn shop. It lasted 1.5 years before it stopped working. I noticed the hard drive stopped working too, before it went out. It's modded so I wasn't concerned about physical disc, but I wanted access to all the games I have on it so I bought this replacement battery and after 1 full charge it works great, and disc drive is back working. I guess old battery couldn't give power to the drive and the device at the same time while it was on its way out.

Bought this 3 months ago and it no longer holds a charge. Will only work if the PSP is connected to power with the power cord, otherwise it'll die within minutes running solely on battery. Guess I will have to look for another brand.
