Good source of plenty of potentially helpful supplements in one capsule 💊
A few of these 'nootropic' supplements are popping up on the market lately, offering broadly the same formula, a mixture of ingredients that have some track record of improving alertness and focus. Perhaps the newest addition to me in this brand was "Coffeine", which at first I took for a misspelt caffeine - not so, although they're related: Coffeine is a more natural, unprocessed source of caffeine derived from unroasted, green coffee beans. Doing a bit of digging, it's meant to have serious benefits over the rush-crash cycle of caffeine, giving a steadier, less volatile energy boost. There's definitely less of the 'caffeine jitters' when taking these compared to a couple of strong espressos, so perhaps there's something in the hype.Otherwise, the key components also include a range of amino acids and other substances that, apart from the tentatively touted benefits to focus and mental acuity, are potentially useful in a supplement for a range of other reasons (antioxidant properties - most famously Gingko Biloba - roles in cell energy cycles and so on). You'll often find these in separate supplements on their own, so if you're interested in building them into your diet then this product is a decent, possibly better value way to get them all-in-one.The recommended dose is two capsules a day. The capsules are fairly sizeable things, but smoothly coated and easy enough to swallow with a glass of water.I've been trying them for a few weeks, and although it's hard to truly tell whether they're living up to the 'cognitive enhancer' tagline, I tolerate them well, have had no ill effects, and have had a productive month or so of work and study. I've also been sleeping well recently, one of the possible benefits, so perhaps that's where the key difference lies. All in all, a good source of plenty of potentially helpful supplements in one capsule.
