JMU 1000 Gauze Pads 2x2, Sponge Non-Woven 4-Ply Non-Sterile Dental Pads All Purpose Gauze

These are great. Very soft and good size for multiple uses. Husband has tubes sticking out of kidnies. He is prone to infection and is a side sleeper. It's extremely important to have sterile entry point and be comfortable. Just one 4 ply sponge is thick enough for usage. I don't use just one though. I don't have to skimp because the price and quantity are excellent. Unfolded by half and wrapped around tubes then taped, keeps the tubes sterile and comfortable. The half folded in half is about a quarter inch thick and provides great padding. That is just one sponge. Entry point I use two different types of small bandages cut just enough to wrap around tube and to cover the actual opening along with a good squirt of antibacterial ointment. I have used the sponges as actual bandages. Drawback to that is finding a tape that adheres to the skin and I've yet to find tape that I am happy with. I am always changing up how I bandage them both. Sometimes his body is more sensitive than others and changing up how I do the bandaging keeps his body from getting used to one way. Currently using an IV sponge on top of bandages and long foam bandage. I cut the foam lengthwise and wrap it around the tube and junction area (junction is painful to lay on). Then I take these sponges and wrap them around the foam bandage. The changing up of procedure and what goes where prevents his body from going sepsis. I do not know why the changing up works; I just accept that it does. The old coot has tried to die on me three times already and that is just unacceptable and stressful. Besides, I have cancer again. Colon was the first. 15 years later I have a skin cancer tumor between one shoulder blade and my spine. Next to impossible for me to take care of. These sponges are also husband proof. So he is able to keep that area clean and bandaged (the tumor enjoys bleeding). A surgeon will use an ice cream scoop to remove it soon. After that procedure it will be even more necessary for him to utilize these sponges. After I am healed I can use these sponges for other things. I will consider allowing him to predecease me later.

These gauze pads are great! They do not fall apart or leave bits of lint behind when I use them to clean my wound. They are sturdy enough to hold a good amount of wound cleanser without getting too soggy to use effectively; I am able to squirt 2 full pumps of the wound cleanser on one side of the pad, apply it to the wound and then wipe the cleanser off by wiping gently with the second side of the pad. These gauze pads feel thick and are soft to the touch and gentle on my wound. They are also extremely cost effective at only 2 cents per 3inch x 3 inch pad (especially since, as mentioned, I only need to use one pad to clean my wound because these pads are thick enough to be able to use one side for applying cleanser and the other side for removing it). I am very pleased with this item and highly recommend it!

I use these for my small teeth whitening business. They are very absorbent and just the right thickness. They are also great for wiping cuts and cleaning for first aid and to protect the skin. They are easy to fold up for an even smaller size

I wanted gauze pads to use to brush my dogs teeth. These are exactly as described. Non-woven gauze pads. It doesn’t get more basic than that. I purchased the 1000 count, which should’ve been five packages of 200 each. The brown paper Amazon shipping envelope was not sealed fully, and only one package of 200 arrived. Amazon was able to resolve this for me quickly and easily. Way to go! These are worth the price, and I think Amazon just made a minor slip.

I love love love these gauze pads ! I use these for my facial toners - Thay are not too thick so they don’t waste your toners and toning lotions - You also get so many for the price - they have zero lint or fuzz that will be left on your skin - I will definitely buy these again 💗💗

Excellent quality, doesn't leave lint behind in the wound. The perfect size for what I needed, but they also offer other sizes to suit your specific needs. They are very soft!

I use these at the salon. They are economical and work great to apply toner or remove products from the skin.
