Works okay. Batteries are easy to install. The level adjusts pretty wellThen reading the instructions down in the fine print, it says... “For Indoor use only” which is not mentioned in the Amazon ad. Okay, four stars. I did use it outside and it is not as powerful as my old level (which died after 20 years because the batteries leaked and corroded killing it). But it did work in my case (about 10 feet). I would not expect the beam to go more that 20 feet outside.So I am glad that I bought this level. I got done what I needed to get done.

I bought this laser tool at a decent price to use for leveling pictures around the house. It has a magnetic base that I attached to the wall with a 3M strip. It has a line laser and dot laser to project on the wall. I've enjoyed using the tool as I can set it in one place on the wall and hang multiple pictures level.
