It's a very pretty phone. I'm disappointed because the cord going into the handle is like hard wired so I can't buy a longer curly que cord. The sound is nice, not jarring. The receiver handle jiggles more than I thought and it makes the handle hang crooked on it but if I move the curly que cord back, it straightens out the handle. I haven't tried to set up the date/time/caller ID things yet. I had an old phone like this and it was a dial phone and the ring was like a buzzer though I could change the curly que cord on that one. This one is still very pretty.

This is super pretty, and I love using it as decor. I bought it because I needed a new home phone for my job.- I managed to get the date/time set SOMEHOW, but of course unplugging it to move it means you have to figure it out all over again. The instructions are yes, very badly translated from Chinese to English. It made more sense the more I played with it. I wish it was easier, but I'm sure I could figure it out again.- I bought an extender and curly cord because I wanted them to be white. For whatever reason the ones attached to the phone are a soft grey, which don't really match. Sadly, I will have to return the curly cord because it seems the one used on the phone is glued in and can't be replaced. So I guess I'll have to live with that being gray.- The rose print is pixilated if you look Really closely. Not exactly how I expected. And the "gold" is very yellow-gold.- The ring sound isn't vintage sounding, but modern. It's not too loud or anything.- The "Caller ID" feature isn't what I'm really used to. When I was young I remember it displaying a caller's last name usually. This only shows the number. So unless you get frequent calls from the same person and memorize who is what #, it's kind of useless. You might be better off not caring if it has Caller ID.- The seller was kind and tried to be of assistance with the settings when I contacted them.Overall, I like it, I will probably be keeping it. The reason I bought this was because I loved the old & girly look and that it had Caller ID. So unless I come across something better... It'll do it's job and I'll show it off when my friends come over because it's still super cute and works.
