A little lacking~
My kids loved the Colors book—to the point that I decided to buy a new copy so they could keep loving it. When I saw there was now a book of Shapes, as well, I bought it without question.Unfortunately, I don't feel this one hits the mark quite the same; for a few reasons I'll list below:—The images seemed less creative, inspiring, and engaging than in the book of Colors. A few of them even appeared to be lower-quality.—Having the names of the shapes listed on the page felt a little distracting. I had expected wordless pages like in the other book.—At least one page had an incorrect shape on it; my 5 year old was the one to point it out.All in all, I'm just a little disappointed. My 2.5 year old flipped through the pages pretty quickly (and these were meant for her) before returning to the book of Colors, which she read for 10 minutes or more.Basically, if you have the book of Colors, you might want this book, also—just know it's not as good. And if you own neither of them, go buy the book of Colors now~! It's one of our favorite kids books and I'm so happy I bought that one.

Another must have!
The first book we received was without the stars page, something to do with production I believe. We gladly ordered a second. The first copy will be great for travel while the second will find a home on our bookshelf. Nicole Kavanaugh is one of today’s most sought after speakers when in comes to Montessori. With all the free advice she shares through her blog and Instagram, I’m more than happy to order a few extra books. Especially since the two books she has currently authored has so many opportunities for my little ones.

Great book, but no page for stars.
The book is great, and I love the ideas for engaging with the book provided at the end, but the pictures on the cover, title page, and activity idea list all make it seem like there is supposed to be a star page and there isn't one. Even the book description here on Amazon says the star shape is included. It's been a bit confusing for my little one.

Real Life Shapes in Brilliant Colors
We love Nicole’s Shapes book, the colorful real life objects are great! The biggest selling point for us was the inclusion of the quatrefoil, to support our other Montessori shape materials

Another hit for our kids
Nicole’s book are so incredible in their simplicity. My toddler and preschooler are enamored with both of her books. Loved adding this one to our collection!
